Honestly I wasn’t sure what to expect when I ordered a poke bowl from here but I’m glad I did. This small location doesn’t have a whole lot of seating area, and I got takeout so my review is purely on the food and takeout experience.
One thing I did like about this place while ordering takeout is that they do ask if I want utensils or not. Seems insignificant but I’m working on being environmentally-friendlier and so something like this can make a big impact on our overall waste. I prefer not receiving utensils while getting takeout if I’m just going to use my own reusable ones at home. It’s better for the environment and saves the business some money. Win win for everyone.
Back to the food: the portion size is great for the price you pay. They definitely don’t skimp out on ingredients and everything tasted very fresh. It was very tasty and refreshing to eat, I was not expecting to like it so much. But after my experience, I would definitely order...
Read moreI am SO THRILLED with this restaurant. I tend to order food often, and in multiple cities, and I'm blown away by Poke Co! I've been in Hamilton 2 weeks and have already ordered from here twice. It's easily the healthiest and tastiest meals I've ever ordered. The food is incredibly tasty, incredibly fresh, it feels so guilt-free since it has all of your food groups - lots of veggies, lots of protein, the delivery was so fast, and the serving size was an amazing value for price as they gave a generous amount of the protein I selected - I had salmon and tofu in my first order, and tuna in my second order. Both of my orders I had enough left overs from lunch to eat for dinner! Great work to the whole...
Read moreTried this place for the first time from Über Eats. I ordered the large "Seoul in a Bowl" and she ordered the medium "Ricky It's Halapeenyo". Both were really yummy, had a great selection of fresh ingredients, and were amazing portion sizes (almost too large??).
Fair warning: The "Seoul in a Bowl" is very spicy. The fish is coated in a delicious spicy saucy and comes with a Sriracha sauce to go on top. I put a tiny amount of the Sriracha on and it was very hot. But if spice is your thing, this is an excellent choice! The "Halapeenyo" bowl was less spicy from what I can tell, and it came with Sriracha Mayo. Both were delicious!
I would highly recommend this place. Can't wait to try...
