🎊Hot fun in the summertime🎉and that it was. We decided to grab some after 4pm tickets to slip and slide and float as it was on the grandkids' summer bucket list. Their Mom and I frequented this place during her childhood and now we were sharing new memories with them. Outside of the astro turf missing, the place felt the same. It was extremely crowded but doable. We wore our bathing suits as I have never found the change/washrooms to be clean ( maybe when it first opened) We enjoyed the lazy river once again and delighted in holding each other under the various 'waterfalls.' The kids were so excited about the waves as we headed for the deep end( all accomplished swimmers) but anyone under the age of 11 must wear a lifejacket. The water seemed unusually warm 🤔 but still cooled us off. The lineups finally died down on the slides and the younger folk stepped up to the challenge. Now, mind you, I would have gone down but sadly got some sunscreen in my one eye and it was burning and very uncomfortable. I did visit the first aid area and a young gal gave me access to an eye flush bottle which provided relief. She put it back in the stand and am hoping she sterilized it once I left 😳 All in all, it was a trip down memory lane, a fun time had by all and we felt refreshed ( altho covered in chlorine) once we left. Now I am not sure if this is connected at all, but I did come down with a sore throat and cough the next day? I am sure they test the waters and do everything they can to keep it clean, but ya never know.

Excellent choice to initiate our 7yr Olds to "big" water slides. I was torn on doing this park vs Wet n Wild or Splash Works. I was concerned they wouldn't be ready for many of the hight thrills rides the other 2 parks have to offer. For the price I definitely think this was the way to go. -Parking was easy and free. -we brought in our cooler for a picnic. There are a few cabanas you can rent but there are loads of picnic tables available all over the park as first come first serve. Lots of places to set up a blanket. -We also brought our own life jackets. We didn't rent any tubes and honestly didn't feel like we missed out. All the places that require tubes, had many to share. You might just need to wait a bit for the next tube to be available. One trick I would recommend is to possibly bring a small mesh bag to put your hat and sunglasses in to go down the slides. We stuffed our hats down our shirts but I also needed to take off my glasses and they fell 2 times out of my shirts once I would plunge into the pool at the end of the slide. I figure a mesh bag would at least make it easier to keep everything safe. All in all, it was a fantastic day, our boys had a blast and it didn't feel like a tourist trap nickel and dime'ing me every chance they could. Slides aren't top notch thrills but the place was clean, water was heated and we had loads of fun.

The best water park hands down. Would come here 1000 times over rather than wet n wild. Everything is super close which is perfect for me because the second I take off my glasses I can’t see anything. The lines for the waterslides are super fast only downfall is you have to walk up the stairs so make sure you eat and stay hydrated on a 30+ day. The wave pool is EXCELLENT!! Shout out to lifeguards there always on watch - your littles need to have life jackets they are strict about that! For the tubes: you can rent special ones but there are tons if free tubes where you don’t have to put a deposit, if you’re renting a cabana they give you 4 dark blue ones … The prices are cheaper online if you’re looking to save $2-3 They don’t have any actual food restaurant inside the park as a staff member told me there are food trucks outside , they do have a snack bar which has popcorn, dippin dots , popsicles , nachos , icee’s which in my opinion is a lot:) you can bring your own drinks + food to cut down even more costs which is good if u plan to spend the day.

Although it's closed 2020 & 2021 seasons I've been coming here with my family for the past 3-4 years, pretty much once or twice a week, and I definitely do recommend coming here.

TL;DR: Clean, well-maintained, kind staff, lots of picnic/recreational space, something for everyone. Lines get long on weekends, food prices are high.

Summary: From my personal experience over the years, Wild Waterworks is extremely clean, has very friendly and kind staff, includes tons of recreation/picnic space, is extremely well-maintained, has plenty of lifeguards/staff that constantly roam the park, rentable tubes and lockers are available and life vests are provided for younger children. The only downsides I could list is that the price of food that they sell at the park is super high for what you're getting (They allow you to bring in your own food, no glass bottles or alcohol allowed) and the wait times you may experience on weekends can be very long. (usually wait times peak between 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm)

Don't recommend going on weekends, wait times to get into the park and to go down slides can be very long. The food is also somewhat sub-par for what you pay for, recommend bringing a lunch. Lockers can be purchased to store belongings in, if I can remember correctly there's smaller lockers in the bathrooms that can fit a backpack or two that cost a buck to open each time you want to use them, usually don't end up spending more than $2 on these lockers each time I use them. The park is extremely clean and well maintained, at all times I see maintenance folk keeping the pools clean. The staff are extremely friendly and kind. There's something for everyone too, including a small artificial beach and a huge splash pad for younger ones, a lazy river, and a really good selection of slides. Life vests are provided, it is required for younger children to wear them at all attractions. There's plenty of well trained lifeguards, 8 or so stationed at the wave pool at all times plus one or two for each of the other smaller attractions. Plenty of picnic and recreational space, although it can get tight on weekends.

Personally, I absolutely love this place, and highly recommend visiting at least once. I come here a few times a week during the summer, Highly recommend getting a seasons pass if you plan on coming here more than 2-3 times a summer, the family pass gives you a 4 passes for family members at a discount, and it generally saves you loads of cash. Plus you get your own separate line when it comes to entering the park, making entering...

Since no one told me I'll tell you... We visited mid July 2025. Food trucks arrive and are parked outside the park for "real" food. Ice cream(we had a sponge Bob $4,20), soda, water, treats are open near the lockers at a concession. This is the only concession. Fries, burgers, funnel cakes...no more.

Lockers you pay for at the customer service hut and then head to your locker and punch in a code. No coins! Access the locker as much as you want. Lockers are small med and large. We had a large and it fit two backpacks, both sets of our shoes and clothing we were wearing and it was extremely tight. The locker was about $19 for the day. Parking is free and there is plenty as it's in the Confederation Park . Tubes....you can rent tubes and you must keep an eye on them all day and carry them with you. You only need to rent them if you don't want to wait for a tube. The lazy river has tubes for free, but those tubes only stay in the lazy river! Tubes for the slides are also free and you grab those as people come off the slides, if you do not wish to wait for one then renting a tube is for you! The rented tubes are also allowed in the wave pool. No other tubes are allowed there.

The line ups for the slides are typical so it's not like if you have your rented tube you'll go down quicker.

Life jackets are free and hanging up by the wave pool and lazy river. There are plenty from toddler to adult. IF you are purchasing a child pass because your child is under ten, they MUST wear a lifejacket in the lazy river! it's optional for anyone over ten. Children's bands upon entry are yellow and anyone over ten is red, that's how the lifeguards know if they should be in a lifejacket or not. Buying tickets on their website vs in person, makes no difference. Online you have a processing fee and in person there is a park fee, so it works out to be almost the same. Cabanas you book online and I highly recommend if you're bringing a lot of stuff and with a big family. The parking lot is literally right there so you can go and grab your cooler for food. Upon entry they check coolers and bags... ABSOLUTELY no glass containers, cups or bottles. So bring throwaways or plastic. There is a height and weight restriction for the slides and I believe it's 42" for some. All slides but two, you must be on a tube. Single or double. We went on a breezy non heat wave day and we were chilly! So go on a hot day!! The wave pool seemed quite...

Very bad service and I'm very disappointed with the service I received today at wild waterworks after the long miserable day! They saw us young people and took advantage, of letting us pay admission to enter when the water facilities and all attractions were closed due to thunder and lightning ( at that time we were unaware). We quickly got changed and payed $5.00 for lock rentals and payed $30.00 for tube rentals still the staff didn't tell us. We found a spot to sit and headed towards the attractions! We realized something was weird so we asked the security guard who stood by the wave pool! He said we just heard thunder so wait 30 mins, we started to wait but the thunder and lightning grew, we like all the others headed to where we first bought the tickets, while my cousins from Germany gathered out stuff and returned the tubes ( 25 mins after we bought admission) that is $20.00 waste because 15.00 was returned to us from $30 while $15 stayed to the bad place and $5 was wasted to the lock. We didn't even touch the water! Then we talked to a security guard and he said to wait in this line because if you purchased your ticket 30 mins ago you get refunded! We waited and waited so 30 mins passed because other people were also getting refunded! We finally got to our turn spoke with security to manager to employee and many more because they didn't return the 70-80$ we spent because we were "over 30 mins". Only because I'm the begginning we waited for security to check bags, got changed and then at the end waited for people to get their money back! Very rude People, and did not understand that they're from Germany and leaving the week after! They came to a decision either we report to Hamilton where the money "might " get approved if not approved we don't get comeback passes or we take comeback passes- the thing is they didn't return the money where we were technically under 30 mins just waiting for their bad service! Who knew? We ended up taking the comeback passes with no ride back because loss of money. We spent 4 hours in the rain and cold waiting for my dad to return from niagara. What a crappy day next time make sure they don't take advantage of your ages and they tell you everything before entry. And keep fighting until you can...
