Kamloops Museum and Archive offers free access to visitors, with donations being encouraged. The admission fees are reasonably priced at $1 for kids and $3 for adults. The first floor of the museum provides a delightful experience for children, as it offers a wide range of interactive activities. From playing with giant Jenga to exploring a wood cabin and even trying on animal costumes, there is plenty to keep kids entertained. The second floor is currently undergoing renovations, but the anticipation of what's to come adds an air of excitement. On the third floor, visitors can delve into the rich history of Kamloops, learning about its captivating past. As you enter the museum, make sure to grab a word puzzle for your child to fill out, as completing it earns them free goodies. Kamloops Museum and Archive is a fantastic educational destination for families, where learning and play come...

I brought my sister's kids age 8 and 11 to the museum for a quick tour. It only costs a few dollars if I remember correctly. We ended up spending over an hour there, and I had to drag the kids out. They are always changing their displays and specialty showings. For example, right now they have a special history on mountain biking and they have a few display mountain bikes as well as very detailed stories and histories about them, and the sport history from the beginning to now. And how the sport has evolved. I would suggest highly to visit the museum, it is very child-friendly. And you will never find...

The Kamloops Museum and Archives is Kamloop's premier museum. The friendliest front desk staff you ever did see and there's lots to see and do for children, adults, and seniors. Lean about Fur Traders in Kamloops or how Japanese Canadians made their lives in the city. Discover hidden history and culture in the Victorian exhibit. Like rocks? They've got those too, a beautiful collection from all over the Okanagan. Curious about Kamloops history? Drop by the archives for a bit of research and learn about the people from all over the world who helped make the city...

Excellent place to stop in on your way through. Very informative. Has a taxidermy display of Canada's wildlife. Has heritage displays of Immigrant traditions. Has old car on top floor. Has kid-oriented bottom floor with informative activities. Pay parking around building. Don't forget to donate a small amount for your 'admission' Key words: child friendly, kid friendly, animals, taxidermy, pay parking, kamloops, free admission, activities +1 Clean. +1 Helpful. +1 Kid-Friendly. +1 No wait. -1 Pay parking
