I tried a new coffee place in Kamloops today – Caffe Motivo. I ordered a London Fog and a Pesto Chicken Melt.
The London Fog was smooth and creamy, with just the right balance of tea and milk. It felt warm and comforting. The Pesto Chicken Melt was the highlight – the bread was nicely toasted with herbs, and the chicken inside was tender with gooey melted cheese and pesto. The flavors worked really well together, and it was filling too.
The place itself had a cozy vibe, perfect for sitting down with a hot drink. The staff were friendly, and the service was quick. Prices are a little on the higher side (my meal came to about $21), but the quality makes it worth it.
Overall, I’d say Caffe Motivo is a great spot if you’re looking for a relaxed café experience with tasty food and drinks in downtown Kamloops. #canadafoodie #canadafood #canada #foodie #food #canadafoodblogger #torontofoodie #foodphotography #cookingtips #homemadefood #siramidkitchen #britishcolumbiacanada #vancouverfoodie #nigerianfoodincanada #canadacaterers #kamloops #canadafoodnetwork #caterersnewbrunswick #newbrunswickfood #africanfoodincanada #discoversaintjohn #discovernewbrunswick #coffee #canadahomemeal #canadafoodblog #foodporn #foods #healthfoodstore #brandpromotion...
Read moreI only have liked one thing on the menu and every other thing I have tried has been pretty gross. I tried a piece of pie that was $6 for a small slive and that was soft even the crust, baby food soft as if it had been in the fridge and collected condensation for a week and just lost all its structure and was filled with water is the obly way I can exolain it even the end crust piece was mushy. I also tried the chai tea late and it tasted like perfume. Everything else Ive had I really could not force myself to have more than one bite and for the price it just isnt worth it. I really enjoyed the veggie quickstart and the capicoli but that is the only edible thing I had. Its really unfortunate as the atmosphere is great and there is lots of seating and it is clean which is nice. Baristas are really nice though and have walked me my food to my table and are very friendly and the hours are convenient as well and its nice that they have a tipping option on the machine even for visa cards. Unfortunately I will not be back or recommending it though as even if the atmosphere is the best place in town and the staff are friendly the food is the worst Ive had the last three years...
Read moreOrdered a few items off the menu for delivery, including:
(1)latte (excellent flavour; quality coffee and the medium was ample in size); (2)southwest breakfast wrap (great taste; hearty size and arrived hot!); (3)blueberry wheat-free muffin (have not yet sampled but looks tasty); and (4)garden salad, which they were out of but went well above in rectifying it!
Instead of replacing with an item of equal or lesser value (which is pretty standard), they substituted for a veggie wrap and sent a note to apologize (nice touch!).
I was completely surprised and very impressed by this, especially given this item is double in price and with inflation, is rare to see a restaurant go above and beyond is this regard.
Clearly they take care of their customers and are in the business of striving to maintain customers - for which I most definitely will be!
Thank you Caffè...
