Incredible rude and dishonest staff! I volunteered on a field trip for my daughters elementary school. I left behind a very expensive yeti mug… called a few days later, spoke with someone who worked there, I described the mug, and she said that it was turned in. I was so happy that someone had turned it in. Went to pick it up and I was told it was gone, and that it was my fault for losing my yeti mug, and they are not responsible for lost items. Didn’t expect them to be responsible for my “lost” item, however, when it was turned in, and I told the woman on the phone I was coming to pick it up and a few days later it’s gone??? clearly one of the staff decided they want to do gift themselves with a yeti mug with my name on it. Fine… the mug is gone, but the lack of respect and rude behaviour from the staff was absolutely disgusting. The manager (Colleen) was so rude and clearly knew one of the staff had taken it. So disappointed with...

I brought a group of 23 here on Thursday to check out the art centre and I was mostly impressed. The open floor live music, which mostly featured combos from Mount Boucherie Secondary were outstanding. I was really impressed with what I was hearing and even more thrilled to see students with such a passion for music!
The art displays were nice but not too extensive and lost the interest of my students quite quickly. This was quickly remedied by our participation in the Salsa Dancing from 8-10pm. Our group had such a blast learning how to Salsa dance and they go full swing into things after the lesson. Thank you for having us, my students thoroughly enjoyed vising!
If you want a pleasant taste of Kelowna Arts, coupled with some wine/beer or a coffee and some snacks, this is a great...
Read moreThis is a beautiful building, has good food when the restaurant is open, but sooo underutilized! I have walked through that building when things are on downtown and it is often empty! This is supposed to be an artsy town, but this venue, which could have done so much to add to that reputation, has not done the job. Why? More advertising? More free events that draw people, the restaurant open more often, maybe adding a shop or two specializing in art supplies and products, just more buzz around there would do a lot to help us get the word out that Kelowna isn't just all about wine, but there are tons of...
