Roadside photo op. Pretty good condition with some graphitti and sun fading. Nicely landscaped area with benches, shade, a lookout point to the harbour/lake. You could picnic there but it’s not a lot of space /privacy. Parking is across the road and there’s an underpass you can take. The parking area is directly across from the statue and also has picnic benches and a small playground for children along with bathrooms. There’s a little tug about there too with an interesting story and looks kind of cool. Anybody who rates this below five stars must have some delusional expectations of what a free small town...

Let’s be honest, this is a big statue of a fish. But don’t let that raw fact deter you. Husky the muskie is a large, very colorful and very well presented statue. It resides in a lovely park/garden that overlooks the lake. Huskies home turf is a comfortable place to relax in the shadow of a giant muskie. We did not stay long at the park, but we certainly could have. The landscaping on the mid-July was absolutely stunning. It's beautifully landscaped from front to back. I would not necessarily go out of my way to see Husky the Muskie, but since we were in town, we wanted to check it out, and we were not...

Husky the Muskie in Kenora is a fun and iconic roadside stop that’s worth a quick visit if you’re in the area. The giant fish statue is hard to miss — it’s right by Lake of the Woods in McLeod Park and has become a local symbol of the town. The park around it is small but clean, with benches, picnic tables, and nice lake views, making it a great place for a short walk or some photos. There’s plenty of parking nearby, and it’s an easy stop if you’re exploring downtown Kenora or Norman Beach. It’s not an all-day attraction, but it’s one of those landmarks that makes the visit memorable, especially...

Good size, wonderful colouring, with an expressive fish face, Huskie the Muskie sure is goodlooking. The park is a nice shady spot to look across Kenora Bay into the city and to see the geyser in action. Access is a little confusing. You park across the road and walk over via a pedestrian underpass. The parking lot also has a small playground and washroom facilities, so good for a quick stop on a long journey.

Loved this! A nice stop along the way to wherever you're going. We were approaching from the west and missed it - trees obstruct the view. Once we doubled back, we missed the parking because it's on the opposite side of the road and you get to the muskie via a pedestrian underpass. We did get there eventually and this made a happy addition to our "larger than life" road trip part 2.
