The concept of this place is great and the ideas for stations are well thought and and I can tell that upon creation years ago had a good educational purpose however I’m giving 3 stars based on the fact that most stations had not been maintained or upgraded. I brought my just 3 year old daughter with my infant. Upon entering is a fishing boat with fishing rods and fish with metal to be picked up by the magnets on the rods. Many of the magnets though were missing and the one that remained wasn’t actually strong enough to pick up a fish. There was a police car to sit it, but my daughter didn’t understand how there was nothing to touch or push inside, no stimulation. The farm section was great and had a cow to milk with water coming out. The grocery store was great with items to pick and then the same items were on a screen to push in at the cash. I was trying to show her the total dollars but the writing was much too small for little kids. I’m only picky with things like this because I’m an elementary school teacher and I feel like everything that little ones read should be visible to them and clear, in larger font. Food was very well used and could use a replacement. Upstairs had a firetruck with a pole that was fun to go down but again no buttons or anything to push inside. We really had fun in the music stage but wished that the costumes consisted of more than just wings (?) that couldn’t be fixed to anything and some capes that couldn’t tie together. I was disappointed the disco light didn’t work and that out of the maybe 9 songs to select, my daughter only knew one. We really liked the school but couldn’t find any chalk large enough to use, still we managed with a tiny bit. I think ultimately the chalk board was set too high for the clientele. We wanted to try the restaurant but there was a large family/group of 7 using the table inside to eat their actual lunch and it would have felt super awkward since they sat in there for a good 40 minutes and never left while we were there. They had all their bags sprawled out and kept pulling out more food, we didn’t want to impose on them by using that room. My daughter felt sad and kept asking to go but it was too awkward. The veterinary clinic was fun with a working microscope. There were images on the walls with messaging asking to find each animal’s food (with what seemed like a magnet) however we couldn’t find any magnetic images or items. There also weren’t any bandages or anything at all to play with except the stuffed animals themselves, no medical tools, nothing. One of the crates was broken and of the maybe 10 buttons on the cages that made animal sounds, only a few worked. Finally we tried the digger at the construction site, I couldn’t get it to work. At one point it moved a bit but none of the levers were working. I felt the whole concept was excellent and each station at one time was a great idea, however many needed more put into them to be stimulating or educational for young kids. We felt if charging the amount they are for a 3 year old, they should be maintaining and updating. We felt pretty let down by the amount of things that didn’t work or were missing parts. Maybe the price should be dropped if it remains in this state. We would really like to come again and hope some updates and basic maintenance will be performed before our next visit. Side note, staff were excellent, friendly...
Read moreOverall, its a fun experience for your young kids of 3 and older. You can go with younger kids, but they might not enjoy it / comprehend whats there as much as a 3 year old. There's a bunch of little staging areas, but many of them dont have much to do, or things are very worn out. The place needs a bit of a makeover. You kid wont see that, but as a parent it shows. The place is also kind of small for the amount of kids it attracts. For example, the grocery store only has 4 carts. So put 10-15 kids in there and you get some that get disappointed. My kid loves the theatre room, but we NEVER had the opportunity to choose a song and have my kid sing, because there is always another kid that will change the song after 2 mins and another that will jump on the mic when your kid goes to put back the music they want. If your kid is hungry, make sure to bring your lunch, there's a few small tables if you are not in a group. They do have dedicated rooms for groups however.
So overall, your kid will enjoy themselves, the staff is friendly, but I wish the place looked better and had...

Tons of activities and a great staff that's bilingual makes this one of the best places to bring your child for an afternoon of exploring and some parental laughs.
They have a grocery store complete with functional cash register. A restaurant, school, vet clinic and all of them with fun activities for the kids to play with. The police car and ambulance are both real, decommissioned vehicles with functioning buttons and lights. There's a lot more including a concert hall with functioning mic, customizable lighting, costumes and of course the kids can select from a wide variety of music from some of their favourite Disney movies or even some kid versions of popular pop music.
Trust me folks this place is worth a visit. Oh and for those of you that are baseball fans, there is a batting cage next...
