SmartCentres Markham Woodside — Attraction in Markham

I remember when this was a field.

Across the years, this complex has been a good example of changing with the times.

The big stores have been there for a while, like Chapters (with the Starbucks inside), Winners, Home Depot, Longos, etc. So you can find most things you need.

The even more convenient part of this complex is it's also beside a Chinese grocery store, spa, Omomo (if you don't know, you should check it out), Ding Tai Fung (soup dumplings), and iKon...

This plaza is in the south side of Hwy 7, East of Hwy 404 and across the street from First Markham Place shopping mall. Tons of parking here and public transit stops on Hwy 7. Lots of stores...Roots, Staples, Chapters w/Starbucks, Winners, Kitchen Stuff Plus, Moores Clothing for Mens, Kelsey's Restaurant, Home Depot, Longo's...and a lot more stores and restaurants across the street at First Markham...

Been coming here for 20+ yrs. Has been the same mall then, and now. Ok assortment of vendors, depending on what your looking for: housewares, Chinese herbs, a few salons. But everyone comes for the food court that offers many Asian dishes from Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Thai. The food court is highly recommended for inexpensive eats. Gets busy on Saturdays...
