The Hindu Heritage Centre in Mississauga is a beautiful and serene temple that truly stands out as a spiritual and cultural gem in the community. From the moment you enter, the atmosphere is welcoming and peaceful. The architecture is stunning, with intricate carvings and vibrant colours that reflect traditional Indian temple design. Inside, the main prayer hall is spacious and well-maintained, providing a calm space for worship and reflection. The temple regularly hosts religious ceremonies, cultural events, and educational programs that bring people together and promote Hindu values and traditions. Whether you’re attending a festival like Diwali or Holi, or simply visiting for daily darshan, the experience is always enriching. The priests are knowledgeable and approachable, often taking time to explain rituals to visitors and devotees alike. What truly sets the Hindu Heritage Centre apart is its dedication to preserving and promoting heritage, not only through worship but also by involving the younger generation through classes in language, music, and dance. The community atmosphere is strong, and there’s a genuine sense of belonging for everyone who walks through its doors. Overall, it’s more than just a temple – it’s a hub of culture, tradition, and spiritual connection. A must-visit for anyone in the GTA.

This wonderful temple is a spiritual sanctuary for many devotees in and around the Toronto, Mississauga and Brampton area. The priests are very nice and genial. The Bhajan by the priests is wonderful and is out of the world. It just transports you to a wonderful spiritual realm. If you have not heard it then you are missing something. Apart from that, the temple and its devotees have a very big heart as well. They have donated over 14 Tons!! (28000 pounds) of food items in 2023 alone to Canadians in need through the Hindufoodbank. This is topping the 11 Tons donated in 2022. Its timely, especially when more Canadians are relying on foodbanks. A shout out to Acharya Surendra Sharmaji, the Temple and its wonderful devotees who show "Nara Seva is Narayana Seva". Hindufoodbank volunteers presented a certificate of appreciation this Sunday. Please visit the temple. Written on behalf of Hindufoodbank Inc.

Well I visited this place to obtain a life certificate: At the outset heartfelt thanks to Consulate General of India, Toronto and the functionaries of Hindu cultural Center, Mississauga for making an excellent arrangement for issue of Life certificate to Indian Pensioners, mandatory for continuation of their Pensions . They issued such certificate to over 700 pensioners in a span of about 5 hours This, reaching the efficiency of issuing one certificate in less than one minute time . The HCC functionaries offered free xerox services to whosoever required it and kept us warm with tea and hydrated with water. Further the helped all the wheel chaired Pensioners. People living in Toronto should visit this temple as it gives an excellent view of Hindu Heritage and currepractices

🌸 Peaceful, divine environment 🛕 Beautifully maintained temple & facilities 🙌 Friendly, welcoming priests & volunteers 📚 Cultural and educational programs 🎊 Incredible festival celebrations 💞 Inclusive, family-friendly atmosphere 🗿 Majestic Lord Ram statue – must-see!

A Divine Gem in the Heart of Mississauga 🇨🇦✨

I recently had the most incredible experience at the Hindu Heritage Centre in Mississauga — and I just had to share how truly special this place is. 💫

The moment I stepped inside, I felt an overwhelming sense of peace, warmth, and spiritual energy. 🕉️ It's not just a temple — it’s a sanctuary for the soul, a cultural treasure, and a welcoming space for people of all ages, backgrounds, and walks of life.

🌟 Stunning Architecture & Serene Atmosphere

The first thing that struck me was the grandeur of the building. The design is simply breathtaking — blending traditional Hindu elements with modern aesthetics. 🛕 The temple interiors are sparkling clean, with marble floors, beautiful carvings, and mesmerizing idols that feel so alive with energy.

I was especially moved by the main prayer hall — it’s spacious, filled with soft chants and the calming scent of incense. You can truly feel the devotion in the air. 🪔💛

Whether you’re visiting for prayer, reflection, or just to admire the architecture, the peaceful vibe here is something you have to experience for yourself.

🙏 Devotional Activities That Touch the Heart

During my visit, I attended a Hanuman Chalisa and evening aartis, and I can't even describe how beautiful it was. The way the prayers are conducted — with so much love, rhythm, and bhakti — really touched my soul. 🎶🔥

The priests are incredibly kind and take the time to explain rituals if you’re curious. It doesn’t matter if you’re deeply religious or just beginning your spiritual journey — everyone is welcomed with open arms and warm smiles. ❤️

📚 A Hub for Culture, Learning & Community

This isn’t just a temple — it’s an experience, a community, and a cultural masterpiece. If you’re in Mississauga or anywhere in the GTA, don’t miss out on the Hindu Heritage Centre. It’s a place your heart will want to return to again...

Peace and Divine. Very few of those Hindu temples in GTA that are built grand and give the look and feel of a temple. Ample of parking space, lift facility in case someone is not able to walk much, the hall at level 2 is huge and has idols of all gods/ goddesses at the front and separately there is shivling and nav graha idols. Basement has a hall that can be used for private lunch/dinner gatherings ( Pooja related) and otherwise is use to host the langar. You can usually see some Pooja/ceremony going on at different times for different people in main hall at level 2 and they host katha, Bhajan kirtan and mata chowki too.. you can see huge gatherings during karvachauth Pooja or other big festivals All pandits are helpful and no one encountered yet to speak out a dakshina amount for any Pooja they perform for you.. they always say as per your shradha.

They have Kitchen in basement to cook langar and the food quality is descent if you host a private event and book mandir kitchen prepared food.. else you can also get food from outside in trays or live cooking caterer trucks but mandir does not allow anyone to use their kitchen for cooking or heating food.

Been lucky to have attended a katha session done by head poojari and it was mesmerizing and enjoyable.

You can even see their events list and live video (that starts at 11am) on their FB page or on their IPTV channel.

Overall a very peaceful place to visit and be in god's feet to chant their name and attend / perform/ host...
