Mississauga Valley Park — Attraction in Mississauga

I love this place, and take a walk through the trails down by the river every day. There are lush forests and an awesome river that expands depending on the weather (if it’s raining the river is rushing, if it’s dry you’ll see the stepping stones mixed it’s the water). If you’re into mountain or BMX biking there are a few trails and jumps people have dug out. As you walk through the trail it leads you to a bridge and the park: the park has multiple BBQ setups (just being charcoal & a light), and in the vicinity there are tennis courts, bacci ball, football, baseball, and soccer fields that are open to the public. For the kids there’s a splash pad. If you follow the trail you can hike for hours (you have to cross a few roads along the way but the trail continues). Definitely a great spot for everything. Nice view. Well maintained park, with new play structures, and mini workout station. Nice place for the kids to run around, as there is a lot of space to play sports, games, and even just go for a morning run. The tennis court is big, with four slots. There are two baseball fields, and one soccer field. The splash pad is fun for small kids. Some of the buttons don’t work very well but it is fun to play in. The picnic/ seating area is nice and big. Lots of space for barbecues, and gatherings. Lots of great trails for hiking in the forests. Lots of animals like squirrels, bunnies, birds, and ducks. Nice large park with many ammenities.. indoor basketball courts as well as indoor ice rink.. Library and many separate rooms/enclosed spaces for private functions or gatherings. Outdoor spaces include a bbq area as well as a soccer field etc.. a children's playground and water splash is also an added bonus.. It's a very good community centre with ample areas for people.. parking could be better but there is some more parking in back of the buildings which helps.. generally it's pretty busy.. also a school is part of the area complex.so definitely be careful and watch the children if you drive around the...
