An amazing little donut and ice cream shop with a lot of kind staff. The donuts are so chewy and delightful warm, and especially good with ice cream or doused in cinnamon sugar! The hard ice cream is also tasty, though the scoops are usually a bit on the smaller side compared to similar ice cream shops—can't speak for soft serve. I don't mind it, since the price seems to match and the portion is good enough for me, who wants a little treat. Others might be a bit frustrated with that if they're used to bigger Instagram-worthy portions elsewhere. This place serves you ice cream and is conveniently located in my neighborhood with good hours, and I appreciate that. Definitely also worth trying their West African specialities! The JUICES ARE FULL OF FLAVOUR and made by hand. It's so impressive how packed full of deliciousness they are; I can only savour a small amount at a time! I really can't wait to try their take home meals and other snacks. Highly recommend!

This lil ice cream/donut place "le Botocoin" is a must.... the lil donuts hits the spot and if you happen to get it warm with hazelnut choco syrup it's like you have chocolaty goodness in your mouth. I am so glad I found this on my trip to Montreal. This place is definitely a little treat before or after dinner.

Very tasty ice cream! One minor thing: I asked which foods are peanut-free (I have a peanut allergy) and the employee unfortunately didn't know. If you have a severe peanut allergy, it might be better to choose another place. Overall, still a great visit though, I hope to return again soon!

I don’t understand how someone in Montreal wouldn’t want to speak a word of English. I think everyone would know how to say “what size” or somehow communicate with someone from a different language. We liked what we ate but we felt very unwelcomed and uncomfortable shopping and eating there.

The ice cream donut was soo good! Our hot and crispy doughnut goes well with the pistachio ice cream. I ordered the bueno flavor but they forgot to add them so I asked and they added some for me. The store was really small so might have to wait outside after ordering if there’s a long line.

the service is nice but i was shocked by how empty the flurry is. like it was 99% ice cream and 1% chocolate. i couldnt even feel the taste of the buenos in the ouragan i felt like i ordered a basic vanilla ice cream .
