I've been coming to Playground for 15 years And I can tell you that the experience is really not the same. Whatever they did with all the extension is a big fail. Service is crappy And It is not all by the players and for the players. Unfortunately, the old Playground that we used to know no longer exists. I used to always wanna come here to have a good time and relax after work It would be a place that I would come to have some good Nice, healthy food. It was a good option when it's late night and you wanted to see some cards and Eat a somewhat healthy meal compared to Everything that's around especially later at night.
How can you explain that I'm sitting at a 2-5 And I ordered something to eat ( greek salad) I never even got it after 4 dealer changes. So let me rephrase again. The dealer changed four times. That's about two hours, and I didn't even get my food . I asked the dealer numerous times to call the waitress, and he kept on telling me that the waitress is called, but she would never show up at the table . I was so disappointed that I just got up from the 2-5 to go play at the 1-2 Thinking that the service would've maybe been better but then again same thing it took me an hour to receive a measly little greek salad with 2 pieces of feta and tomatoes that where more yellow then a Lemon! ( It took another hour for the Waitress to actually Come and take the players order because obviously waitresses are too good for tips that are given out of one too. I'm sure they give more attention to the big tables that are giving big tips two dollars or three dollars doesn't cut it for them so they prioritize the bigger stakes) .I got there at about 730 And I didn't get to eat or drink anything until about 1130.
If It's not the game that's going to tilt you. It's the environment around you. I used to think the casino of Montreal was bad But after second thought, I think i will reconsider going back there and going upstairs for food .
I used to think Playground was the best poker club in the world But they have definitely lost that title .
What they did is typically what every business does Treat the customers right for a certain number of years and then expand and just think about the money , of course, the machines pay them more without needing to Have dealers That's their focus now Having machines everywhere It started in the old Poker room, and now it pretty much took over the whole place the only "poker " you have is On the third floor And it's definitely not the Playground vibe that we used to know from back in the days.
I hate being the person that complains , I am not a complainer , But it's NOT a good poker experience anymore .I Hope this review Shakes Things up a little! They really have some serious work to do and a lot To catch up on .. I can Go on and on and on On how bad this place has became! So sad:(
I attached a picture of this ugly salad that I had to wait five hours for Hope the chefs can actually give a Greek salad that has tomatoes inside and not lemons ! Playground You Lost a Lifetime...

Read moreThe Soundtrack to Snoozeville: This Casino Needs a Vibe Check! Let me tell you, stepping into Playground felt less like entering a place of excitement and more like stumbling into a very large, carpeted waiting room at a retirement home. And the culprit? The music. Oh. My. Goodness. It's as if the playlist was curated specifically to ensure absolutely no one under the age of 70 feels even a flicker of energy. The volume was so low I could practically hear the slot machines whirring louder than the actual "tunes." And the selection? Think elevator music had a baby with a dentist's waiting room soundtrack. It was soft, bland, and utterly devoid of any semblance of a "vibe." Seriously, Playground, are you actively trying to lull your patrons into a state of utter placidity? Where's the pulse? Where's the beat? Where's the music that makes you want to celebrate a win (or at least forget your losses for a minute)? It's painfully obvious that the musical catering here is squarely aimed at a demographic that probably prefers the sound of silence. While I respect everyone's taste, a casino – a place that thrives on energy and excitement – needs a soundtrack that reflects that. This isn't a library; it's supposed to be a place where people come to have fun! The current musical offerings are a serious disservice to anyone looking for even a hint of atmosphere. It's background noise in the truest, most boring sense of the word. If you're looking for a lively night out with some energetic tunes, steer clear of Playground. You'll find more excitement listening to static on the radio. Frankly, the music situation here is so dire it actively detracts from the entire experience. It's time for Playground to wake up and realize that a vibrant atmosphere requires a vibrant soundtrack. Ditch the sleepytime selections and inject some life into this place! Until then, I'll be taking my chances (and my eardrums) elsewhere. But I have to give credit where credit is due, the heartthrob at the 2nd Floor bar named Jamal is and absolute legend and credit to the place. Jamal was the only thing keeping me from perforation my...
