From the moment we were seated, our experience at this high-end sushi restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. We were warmly welcomed and taken care of by our server, Freeman, whose attentiveness and knowledge truly elevated the evening. He was personable, professional, and made each course feel curated just for us.

We started with a beautifully presented bowl of soup — rich, aromatic broth that was both comforting and complex. While it could have used a touch more mushrooms for balance, the depth of flavor more than made up for it.

The highlight of our evening, unsurprisingly, was the sushi. We sampled several rolls, each crafted with precision and creativity. From subtle touches of citrus to unexpected flavor pairings, every bite was a journey. It’s difficult to describe how exquisite the rolls were — the textures, the freshness, the artistry — all combined into an experience that defies easy description.

The ambiance deserves its own praise. Although the restaurant is located in a casino, once inside, that world fades away. The space is refined, intimate, and calming — perfect for enjoying a thoughtful meal without distraction.

In all, this was a memorable evening. Outstanding service, impeccable food, and an atmosphere that invites you to slow down and savor. We’ll absolutely be returning — and requesting...

By simply telling you this menu is beyond superlative wouldn't do it justice. You have to experience it for yourself. In the heart of Playground (second floor of new section), Chef Kadell demonstrates why he may be responsible for the province's very best sushi. As was explained to me (while I stared in amazement at the sashimi bar), the fish is imported from Japan. You can taste the freshness and the flavors come together with a harmonious array of light soy variances and unique toppings (shizo leaves, freshly grated wasabi, lavender, Japanese mint and more). The Scallop rolls (topped with a crunchy salmon roe) were nothing that I have ever tasted. If you like sashimi nigiri style, the chef meticulously skors each piece of tuna belly, tuna neck and New Zealand salmon (what I indulged in) to perfection and the sashimi literally melts in your mouth. They have a full wine list and cocktail menu and the manager (Tom) was the perfect host. In fact,, the entire staff was incredibly friendly and genuine. How can I say much more than "GO" !? The meal will be more than a memorable...

Went on a date for ny birthday, the hostess wished me happy birthday right from the gecko. Our server was Anna, great explanation of the menu and recommendations. She recommended the Premium Makis so we took Sakura, Nigi (Rainbow) and Midori(vegan). Each of them were super fresh and had a nice presentation. Anna was also always checking on us to make sure everything was good and filling up our glass of water/Sake. We took Gyazo mushroom, skewers of shrimp & scallops and skewers of chicken & green onions (chicken one was the best between these two, really tender and great flavours) and as a hot dish the Lobster friend rice (this was probably the favorite meal of my boyfriend ; great presentation, taste and flavour). Anna came with a Yuzu and citrus tarte as a birthday "cake" 🎂 that was offered by the house, she sang hapoy birthday with my boyfriend. Great experience, highly recommend the ambiance was amazing. It's great for dates or even family events.

Thanks Anna we had an amazing time with you being our...

Wife and I greatly enjoyed our experience at Drunken Dragon and we want to thank our Sever Carl for levelling up our experience. From all the dishes we order the regular 12 piece Sashimi stood out the most. With nothing to mask them, the freshness and flavours of the sushi really came through. Quality of fish is one of the best I’ve had in Montreal. Sushi tacos were also great and fish portion was generous! The shrimp tempura was fun and delicious with the dip! All the rolls were ok but were weak on flavour and I feel the fish portion could have been more generous based on the prices. Also we were disappointed with the tuna tartar: presentation was cool and the rice sheet was fun to use but the actual tartar taste was bland and we didn’t like the pasty texture. Both deserts we tried were delicious (chocolate and citrus tart). The seating was very comfortable and the atmosphere was nice for couples but shines for small groups of 4-6.
