This conservation area is really nice if you want to get away from the city. The camp sites and the beach are decent and the staff are always helpful. This review is based purely on our experience during our stay. Our family booked two campsites for the long weekend, july 29 - aug 1st. First, we had neighbours that came on Saturday afternoon who also booked 2 sites, it got a little awkward because the ended up having about 20 people and seven vehicles between the two sites. And the staff had intervene to and explain to them the park rules (two tents per site, 5 people and only 1 vehicle). I think they should keep records of the plate numbers of the vehicles per site, this way they can prevent additional vehicles from checking in. Yesterday, Sunday there were people who came for the day and set up a couple of gazebos across the our camp sites (i believe they were there for the beach). They kept going to our neighbourâs site to get water and at one point washed raw meat at his site! He politely asked them to get water from the public faucet but they ended up coming to our site instead. My brother in law told them that the faucet in our site is ours and directed them to the public faucet. These people started arguing with us and telling us that they paid too and argued that they can get water from the private sites. We just got fed up ended up leaving yesterday (july 31st). I get that the park provides brochures and that the rules are in the website, but the amount of ignorance and disrespect displayed by the people that were there during our stay was enough to make our experience less enjoyable. Staff should do a better job keeping track of the patrons and vehicles and should explain to the other guests that the services in the campsites (power and water) are not for public use. Other than that, the park is beautiful and the staff were helpful and...
Read moreI recently visited Tottenham Conservation Park for a fall colors trail walk, and it was a fantastic experience overall. The park is a hidden gem, offering stunning autumn scenery with trees bursting in vibrant reds, oranges, and yellows. The trail walk was peaceful, winding through the forest and along the water, providing beautiful views at every turn. Itâs the perfect spot for a quiet, nature-filled escape.
In addition to the trails, the park has a lot to offer for families. Thereâs a small beach, which would be great for summer visits, and a kidsâ playground that looked like fun for younger visitors. Picnic areas are plentiful, including shaded spots and BBQ stations, making it ideal for a day out with friends or family.
However, one downside was the restrooms. They were not cleaned, which was disappointing, especially for a park that seems so well-maintained otherwise. If youâre planning a visit, keep that in mind. Overall, Tottenham Conservation Park is a beautiful place for a nature walk and outdoor activities, but I hope they improve the restroom...
Read moreHome to TNT disc golf course. I've only ever played the course in the winter but I heard the course has a lot of picnickers on it during peek season. So if you wanna play it go throughout winter and into the spring. It's a challenging course with a good mix of in the woods holes, open holes and some elevation as well. The park itself is a good size with lots of walking trails, a beach, some pavilions and plenty of picnic tables. The grounds are well maintained with plenty of picture opportunities. There looks like there's some public washrooms as well(not available during winter). It's a nice park in...
