TRAPPED Newmarket Escape Room — Attraction in Newmarket

Escape room was great our group did ET museum and it was interactive and fun. We made it to the end but couldn’t figure out the last puzzle and staff walked us through it.

The only reason why I’m giving this place a 2 star is because of the overdoing of the comments the staff were making to our group. It was funny for the first two times saying that we were a tough crowd and all that, but when the girls continued on throughout it just made my group rather more uncomfortable than entertained. Felt judged and I wouldn’t say our group is the most OVERLY excited group of people but if the staffs jokes were solely based on how we were… quite frankly it was just became weird and rude.

I’ve been to many other Trapped locations and the staff was exceptional and entertained us in ways besides making comments on our group. I would suggest you to train your staff to be more professional and stick to getting us excited about our game instead of mocking us and again FEEL SO uncomfortable. Will not be returning to...

Edit July 2024 Second experience here was not quite as good as the first time. There are a couple puzzles in the ET room that go against what logic would dictate and so the answers were backwards from what they should have been. One of the puzzles in the room when we started working on the puzzle the person on the walkie had to give us a disclaimer as to how the puzzle was solved since there was no indication on the puzzle itself. Another puzzle required a small amount of outside knowledge in order to solve as well. On top of the problems we had in the room, we were told there were physical impossibilities that require a full group of 4 players to complete, and this was a straight up lie. I'll put the review at a 3 star instead of my original 5 star review since if it was only for this review I would have given it a 2 star.

Finally a challenging escape room in Newmarket! Came here for my birthday and enjoyed the room a lot more than other recent escape rooms...

It was OK. We did the 7734 (not scary at all, maybe a bit creepy). We escaped in 31 minutes with no hints, and were told a 10-15% success rate.

Room size for 4 adults max; 3 people would be perfect for this size.

Maybe a great escape room 5 years before, but based on what we had on the market at that moment. Definitely, this is not the premium escape room.

To the owner: I knew most of the machines and tools were from China, but removing the manufacturer's setting would be a better experience (for example, the telephone). Hiding the boxes on the wall can also bring a better experience.
