Honestly this was probably one of the worst experiences I've had in a restaurant. My family and I came in on Wednesday and our server was Lola. First issue we had - as soon as my mom's plate was infront of her, before the rest of the food was even out yet there was a hair in her potatoes. Next issue was my boyfriends eggs were literally ice cold and my sisters food was barely warm enough to be considered a fresh meal. The food had clearly said there for a long time. When we ordered we asked for more coffee, and then we had asked again about 3 times after that and still we weren't given more coffee for about 30 minutes if I had to guess. Now were getting through our meals and we find ANOTHER hair inbetween my strawberries ( I didn't even touch it and I wasn't going to say anything but my mom said something ) our server pulled the hair out from in-between the strawberries and went to the kitchen and got them remade.
But what I don't understand is how we had 2 hairs in our food, waited 30 minutes for coffee, had super cold eggs and barely warm sandwiches??? That's just absolutely wild to me.
I'm in the service industry and I have to say this was absolutely and disgusting experience and my family and I will never return.
And again, all of this and not a single thing was offered....
Read moreSo after the last 3x eating breakfast here, Iâve decided, I will no longer be a customer at this location.
Visit 1- slow service, Wasnt busy. Waitress was new, so I was kind to her. She brought me barely, warm water for my tea and I waited more then 5 mins for milk. My breakfast was served without home fries and it was until I got home, I realized. I knew the plate looked empty..
Visit 2- I got the same waitress. I was kind. However, the water for tea was barely warm again. Items were missing again. I had to stand up to flag her down and wait longer for the rest of my breakfast to arrive.
Visit 3- watched a waitress clear tables and then cut a bagel with her bare unwashed hands and then wipe her hands on the back of her pants. Thatâs pretty gross. The tea was actually hot and good on this day. There was barely any staff. Service was pretty fast. But the fruit⌠my lord. A mushy strawberry, a banana that looked like it was cut hrs prior. My apple had little crumbs all over every piece. Cantaloupe was hard as a rock and dried out. I didnât eat any of the fruit.. such a waste. I hate wasting food. I work hard for my money⌠not worth the 23-30$ I spend every time...
Read moreConsistently raising the breakfast bar! After many visits, and consistently pleasant experiences, I feel the need to add my own high recommendation to this very special breakfast restaurant chain. My wife and I have visited other Cora's locations, and have always enjoyed the same great breakfast experience. IMHO, Cora's is a whole bunch of notches above the typical breakfast restaurant -- you know, those places who sell breakfast food by the pound -- complete with grease, and layer after layer of lard! Cora's has the most amazingly diverse breakfast menu, whether you want healthy or naughty, anything in-between, or a combination of both. And Cora's delivers all of them in spades, with high-quality, fresh ingredients, prepared perfectly, in innovative ways, and served with that special flare that makes perfect sense when you find out Cora's roots are in Quebec. Everything they serve just looks and tastes so much better. Man, our French-speaking neighbours sure know a thing or two about food. To top it off, Cora's is well-staffed with servers who are actually well-trained. Thanks for sharing with us. Highly recommended...
