Ice Babo — Restaurant in Newmarket

As a new customer when we ask them "What is this and that?" they either don't answer or they are so in rush and don't explain. Today we came here again and no one was here, still the same. Here was our conversation: do you have Coffee drink or anything with Coffee flavor? -NO. Any idea what we can get with Coffee flavor? NO, We only have Slushy! , Ok then you have something with Coffee flavor? Anything else? Can we get those small round stuff in it? Anything else? Can we ? Topioca? We don't know, this is the picture, is this topioca? Anything else?

.... like literally no clear answer. Please learn to be helpful and not pressing, in Canada we take our time to think, order and explain, specially when no one is...

The bubble tea here is pretty standard, the tapioca is cooked right and the tea is pretty basic (not like the quality at the alley or chatime) Price is comparable to the Alley or Ten Ren's Tea, which is a bit more pricy than most but their menu is very wide selection. They just opened so the employees still could use some practice at getting faster at making the drinks (right now is about 7min/drink) and listening to orders (they gave me something in the drink I didn't want) but with practice and time I'm sure they'll be quick and accurate. The overall cafe is very nice and chic and they also have rolled ice cream and bubble waffles which sound great! I'd recommend this cafe to anyone looking for a nice...

This was my first time coming to Ice Babo and I was not disappointed. The bubble tea was fantastic - very flavourful. We got pearl milk tea and a matcha milk tea. The only thing that could be improved a bit are the pearls, they are not as soft and chewy as other places.

What surprised me was the service which exceeded my expectations! I had mentioned while ordering that I am getting a pearl milk tea because I hadn’t tried jasmine milk tea and wasn’t sure if I would like it. When she gave us our bubble tea, she also gave me a sample of the jasmine milk tea so I could try it - it was so nice of her! All in all, fantastic service...
