Niagara on the Lake Taxi — Attraction in Niagara Falls

We had a great experience with our taxi driver from NOTL to the falls, and back again. We had Jazz for both drives. He was very friendly and nice to chat to, and a smooth driver. He arrived on time and got us to our destination on time. He also gave us a recommendation for a specific wine tour to do, which we ended up squeezing into our trip and we are so glad we did as it was our favourite part of our trip! He let us know to call 10-15 mins before we were ready for pickup and gave us a company card to ensure we had the number again. After our dinner we gave the taxi service a call just to give them a heads up we were wandering Clifton hills for a bit, and then when we called when all done he showed up to pick us up exactly when he said he would. Back seat also had headed seats which was a nice treat. It was $60 flat fee from our hotel to the falls, and same to return, which the person on the phone let us know when we first called. I called Niagara on the Lake taxi to order a car for the following morning. When I enquired of "Paul" if they were familiar with Niagara on the Lake, I was assured they did. I specifically told "Paul" I needed a taxi to get to Niagara Falls Hospital for 8:00am; requested that the taxi be at my home for 7:00am. When the car did not arrive at 7:00am, I called their "468" number as well as another number listed on their website. Both numbers were answered by machine. I had asked during during the reservation phone call the night before if they wanted my phone number, should there be any problems. "Paul" told me he already had it from their call display. At 7:20, there was no taxi, no phone call and no "Paul". When I returned from the hospital later in the day, there was no indication on my phone that Niagara on the Lake, or anyone else, had called. I was stuck between Thorold and Niagara Falls with a flat bicycle tire, sporadic thunderstorms, and intense heat. I called another service first, and they said they dispatched a van cab to get me. They cancelled the trip because the driver claimed I was a "no show" even though I was standing at the address and no van came by at all. Was a clear lie that didn't help my stranded situation.

I called THIS taxi service, and they sent a van cab within 20 minutes to pick me up so I could get to Niagara Falls on time to catch a train.
