I Always shop at Food Basic on Montrose Rd NFalls Well I can’t say my shopping day yesterday was very pleasant at all ! First Iam in the store reading all the Labels for Canada products only from what all Canadians are going through 😡 I usually come in this store only twice a week ! I get to the cashier & She ask this worker to not lean on the railing behind Her back so he moves but within a few minutes The guy Returns to yet lean in the same SPOT Well cashier 142 once again Quietly & Politely ask this yes INDIAN WORKER to please move off this railing Right behind Her ! NOPE HE SAYS AS HE CAN STAND WHERE HE WANTS 😱 Again she says do you not understand what Iam asking you ? NO Mr Ignorant says ! This cashier was upset as she had to replete 2 times to me how I was paying 🤔 I apologize to Her for HIS RUDENESS as now IAM UPSET. I DONT WANT TO GO INTO ANY STORES WHERE THESE PEOPLE WORK 😡 Not all Indian people are RUDE BUT HE WAS & It upset Myself & the Cashier ! I tried calling the store to speak to the Manager but No one picked up ! Please do something about this Person as I am troubled by His behaviour & This Cashier was by all means Quiet when speaking to him & Not Rude just asking for Her Space as he worked the area Self Checkouts & he would not move after...

I like to come here for the big selection the only problem Ive been having lately is one of the male workers being very rude towards me. First time it happened I generally didnt think anything of it. He basically will ignore me, and only talk to my husband even tho Im the one paying, and at the register while my husband is bagging the food. He has done this 3 times now, and Ive tried to avoid him as much as possible. Today was the final straw for me. I paid as well as asked for cash back my husband was bagging the food, and this male worker saw I was paying immediately looked away from me to ignore me, and asked my husband to sign the receipt. I piped up, and informed him its my card he just rolled his eyes at me slammed the recipt down in front of me. After I signed he immediately gave the money to my husband, and still ignored me. I'm really disappointed in their produce section, especially lately. We have purchased milk that has gone bad before expiry date, meat that has expired before expiry here. We have even had to return our meat because it was bad the same day it was purchased. Sadly their produce section has seen better days. We found garlic and onions that had been sprouting on the shelves, lemons that had been moldy on the shelves. There needs to be some serious changes before we go back to shop at this location. :( It's sad, because it used to be one of our favourite places to get groceries because the prices were right and most of the store had been stocked well. Lately.. there has been issues with stock as well. I know things happen, but selling moldy items is not acceptable. These are all things that could be fixed by a good store manager or proper quality inspections. :(. Hopefully things can change but that is the reason i'm providing a 1...
