The Port Theatre — Attraction in Ontario

The port hosts many different concerts as well as play movies. The draw for us is the matinées they hold fairly regularly. We have seen movies such as Teen Titans Go to the Movies, the my little pony movie, the boss baby, and so on. The seat prices are usually 3.50 for the matinées and the popcorn and drinks well priced. Matinées usually also have a draw for a prize which is fun. Everyone there is so kind!

The theater itself has flip down seats and lots of room between aisles. It is in constant need of repair considering its age but it works well for us. There are washrooms and a canteen that sells more then just pop and popcorn. I gave it full stars despite the state of the theater because the price is right and the popcorn...

The Port Theatre is my home away from home. The staff have become my friends. Plus they have an LCBO license. And they are involved with community projects, giving back to the community.

My passions are 🐈‍⬛ , chocolate 🍫, live music 🎶 & red wine. This fine establishment offers all but the cats. Maybe a cat caffe some day?…😉

I love going to the Port. The theater has been restored, is clean and well-maintained, has a great staff, has a balcony, and is right downtown. They show movies, but also live shows (Rocky Horror Picture Show, concerts). The sound system is excellent. The prices are always lower than what I'd expect to pay. They sell alcohol during certain shows and they have the best fresh popcorn. And they recycle bottles and cans! (The other theater in Cornwall doesn't, or I've never seen clearly marked...
