Poor customer service and impossible to book a group outing !!!! My autistic son had a 13th birthday on Dec 30th and the only thing he enjoys doing is bowling. Since Olympia closed, we were referred to Nativity. I visited the website for hours and information on group bookings. We decided to go ahead and call to book, as it was highly recommended by Nativity to plan ahead. After 8 phone calls, numerous voice-mails and emails, we were finally given the go ahead to reserve 3 lanes. About 2 days before, we found out that we needed an additional lane. When I called to ask to add one on, I was met with a rude "ha absolutely NOT" and was hung up on. So we kept the reservation for 12 people but then upon arrival, we were told the computers crashed and no one was able to bowl. Now having people from Ingleside and Long Sault making their way down, we had to act fast and find Plan B. Anyone who knows autistic children, knows they have an episode when plans need to change at the last minute, so his entire night was spent in a state of disappointment. Here we are in February, trying to book yet again for my daughter's 9th birthday on Feb 16 which I reached out in January knowing its a long weekend. . but no call backs, no returned emails, nothing. Needless to say, we will not recommend this place to anyone...
Read moreThe girl at the front was surprisingly aggressive. We called ahead to make a reservation, and everything was confirmed. There were some connectivity issues on the phone, but we made it work. We weren’t sure if she caught our name, but we got confirmation for 6:30.
When we walked in, she immediately yelled across the room, "You got a reservation?" We explained that we had called and confirmed but weren’t sure if she had our name due to the phone issues. She snapped back, "Well, if you didn’t give your name, you don’t have a reservation. I always get a name. We’re fully booked." Her tone was harsh and unwelcoming and not to mention yelled across the room for all to hear.
So, we started gathering our things to leave, only for her to suddenly backtrack—"Wait, are you this person?" Turns out, she did have our reservation. Suddenly, her attitude shifted, and she became super nice.
The bowling alley itself was fine, but being aggressively yelled at before even reaching the counter to confirm our reservation was unnecessary and put a damper on the night. Honestly, not really eager to come back. I go out to have a good time, not to deal with that kind...
Read moreI love going bowling with friends and family at Nativité Bowl! The alley has plenty of lanes, offers drinks and snacks, and is always clean and well-maintained. The staff are incredibly helpful, polite, and welcoming. They always greet us warmly at the entrance and make sure we have everything we need.
Nativité Bowl offers a fun 5-pin bowling experience, which is perfect for all ages. While it's located downstairs, there’s an elevator available for anyone who needs it, making it accessible for everyone.
I always have a great time here and highly recommend giving it a try! Prices are reasonable for lanes, shoe rentals, and snacks. Just a tip: booking ahead is a good idea, as it...
