The worst place to go for any type of festivities. As a mom with a child going here for Canada Day was extremely dangerous. I had teens and other adults pushing me and my stroller which held my two year old in it all for the fair rides. This is suppose to be a family safe event but in recent years due to barrhaven being over populated by non Canadians my family can’t even enjoy the festivities without teens or adults creating a mosh pit and risking injuries to a child. Experienced my first visit to the park on Tuesday the 11th of June. Went to see my cousin's oldest daughter play soccer. The park itself is very spacious, having a soccer pitch, a play area for children and plenty of green space to enjoy. It's also close to the BMX park where one can watch the incredible stunts these youths can perform. Overall a great park for young and old.
