Gabriel Pizza — Restaurant in Ottawa

I don’t even know where to start, our experience was absolutely horrendous. We had people over for dinner to celebrate NYE, so we had ordered 2 pizzas and wings.

The wings were RAW under the skin to the bone, they weren’t even edible we had to throw them out after realizing that some of us ate raw chicken.

The pizza was way under cooked and thin regardless of asking for thick crust. Because it was so thin, it seemed like all the toppings had fallen off when trying to grab a slice. Trying to grab a slice was also messy as the pizza wasn’t even cut properly.

The garlic sauces were actually ROTTEN, we thought they needed to be mixed or shaken but that didn’t do anything. We ordered 6 of them and 5 were not edible and had to be thrown out. We had to divide 1 garlic sauce between 6 people.

We called in the middle of our dinner and spoke to a supervisor and all they offered was to refund us 35$ (mind you we paid 103$ for this disgusting order) what the hell is 35$ when everyone is sick today from the food and it was too late to order anything else. She wanted to resend food but at this point, everyone was disgusted and nauseous already.

I’m writing this review today as EVERYONE of our party woke up in the middle of the night with severe stomach cramps and diarrhea. I’m beyond disappointed with this customer service and this location providing cheap quality food clearly. Would never order...

Pizza quality fine, delivery service not great. I made a mistake with my address ordering online. It was two doors away from my house address-totally my error. I paid online when I ordered. I missed a phone call by ten minutes, I didn’t have it on me. I called back and it was the delivery driver. I apologized for the error and told him the correct address. When he came to the door he proceeded to yell at us for making him wait. We apologized for the error as it was an honest mistake but mentioned we had already paid so it could have technically left it on the doorstep and not waited. More yells of annoyance. My husband called back the number and let them know we were not happy how he handled it after we apologized and next time just leave it on the step. Admittedly, it got a bit heated so we hung up. Going to be completely honest here, I used to hate the Ottawa/Lebanese style pizza (thick and chunky lol) and I have always preferred the traditional Italian type. This location has completely changed my mind. Every single time I have ordered, the pizza was hot and juicy. I live close by so it doesn’t have time to get cold and I think that’s the key. From a previous hater, this has now become one of my favorite pizza spots. I still don’t love other Gabe’s locations (personal preference), but this one is perfection. Everything is consistently delicious, hot and fresh, and the poutine is great. They use mozzarella with cheese curds so you still get some melted cheese in there. Not to mention the two guys I’ve seen working in the store are always very nice and pleasant to deal with. Zero complaints. I love this place. My friends have started ordering from here too because...
