Waubuno Beach — Attraction in Parry Sound

Today we held a Geocaching Event at the Waubuno Beach Picnic and Washroom facility. We had confirmed the event in advance with the Town of Parry Sound. There were 9 people in Attendance and the picnic tables in the shade under the covered roof was fantastic. We were next to very clean washrooms and drinking water. All in attendance enjoyed the time we spent there, the water view and the cleanliness of the park. Thank-you to the town of Parry Sound for maintaining such a wonderful spot. We stopped here for our kids aged 2 and 5 as a pit stop.

There is plenty of parking, washrooms, a sandy beach with life guards, a playground (playscape, 2 3 slides, swings) as well as hiking paths.

It is not crowded and you can walk out onto a point by crossing a small wooden bridge. There are also 2 benches out on the rocks so you can really get a beautiful view of the lake.

This is an incredibly beautiful public beach on a well defined public walking trail. Brilliant work by the Town of Parrt Sound to create this access! Great for biking, running or walking the dog. Amazing vistas of the lake and lots of little spots to go off trail and explore. Two beaches we saw were super nice.
