Boston Pizza — Restaurant in Parry Sound

So never having been to Boston Pizza and Parry Sound before and based on past Boston Pizza experiences, I had very high and hopeful expectations.

Atmosphere was delightful, serving staff was brilliant and cheerful, but then it went downhill.

Having ordered a beer which arrived promptly and then ordering an appetizer of deep fried dill pickles, my expectation was that the evening was going to be quite enjoyable.

The deep fried dill pickles arrived and much to my dismay the pickles were quite wizened, not very flavorful at all. The breading was adequate, and the accompanying dipping sauce was of some mysterious ranch/mayonnaise/mystery flavor that no one at the table could determine.

Hopeful that dinner would be better, I proceeded to order a Fiesta Salad entree.

Upon arrival of the salad as my main course, I could only describe it as utter disappointment, terrible presentation, Mediocre to soggy ingredients, the chicken was flavorless and resembled soggy croutons and the dressing was so nondescript it could very well have been ketchup and mayonnaise mixed together.

For $19 this is something that Boston Pizza should be thoroughly embarrassed with and either review the structure of the salad or completely remove it off the menu as it was terrible and inedible.

The saving grace was the cold beer and pleasant disposition of the service staff, but from a food standpoint, I would recommend staying away unless there are serious...

I went to this establishment with a few work buddies and the disrespect and ignorance we received from the owner and manager was atrocious, for an hour we were harassed, sworn at, and just made out to be a villain from the moment we got out of our taxi, when we arrived, we smoked a joint in the designated smoking area while waiting to be seated, which was provided with ash trays and chairs for customers, they then proceeded to question our ability to be in a public place and kept asking if we were going to be a problem, which we had no intention to be, then we proceeded to pay 5 dollars a mask just to get in there which is just a rip off to begin with but that's besides the fact, once in thwre they started question our drinks, debating on giving us a second, even to people who didn't smoke, then the owner Shannon came out 40 minutes after the joint has been smoked, proceeded to tell us we're being a problem this a family resturant, we can't be smoking weed in there sanctioned areas, and when we tried to question the situation she continued to tell us to shut the f* up, on more then one occasion, the whole situation ruined my appetite to the point I couldn't eat my food anymore, then I was forced to pay for my meal which they got wrong by the way, after being demorally deprived of my respect and humanity, I will not be going to this resturant again, and I dont wish this...

We visited this place tonight for our first Parry Sound visit. Unfortunately we were not welcome by one of the staff who was dealing with the gate. When we approached to the entrance, there was nobody there and we saw couple of tables and chairs were empty. Other than wait just in front of the door and watching others’ eating, we just moved to the front patio and was looking for the empty seats. At that moment, I heard someone is shouting from 4-5 meters away and in front of other people and tables to us. She said “ we are showing you where to sit!!!!” I found it absolutely rude and ridiculous since the moment she shouted us, everybody turned their face and looked us. I was not sure why this staff was shouting customers and who dare she is to shout me!! I am totally disappointed with this place and this behaviour. This was one of the first time we had dinner in Parry Sound and we will leave tomorrow. I travelled more than 30 countries and had been several restaurants and never saw such type of behaviour. Again if your restaurant has this type of rule to show the way to the customers, she could come and approach slowly and explain this to us without causing this pointing out just in front of others. Nobody deserves this type of behaviour and nobody can shout at me in front of others!! I never recommend this place to any one including travellers who are coming to...
