Skaha Lake Beach — Attraction in Penticton

A fantastic beach with a Mexican restaurant concession on the way end and an ice cream concession at the other end. The beach is groomed regularly and very clean. It's a shallow beach so lots of families having fun (waist deep for about 25 meters out). There is an anchored raft that the tens were enjoying a little further out and many boats pulling skiers and tubers being the swimming barriers. Great place👍👍👍. We visited it for the first time today. The sand is very nice, the water is crystal clear, there is no mud or plants in the water. Wide beach strip🌞. Free parking🚗🚙🛻. There is a slide for children right into the water. There are tall trees on the beach and you can hide from the sun in their shade.There is a kiosk selling drinks and coffee. There is kayaks and SUP boards for rent. We are really like this...

Amazing beach! Really fun and so much to do. Great for kids, nice and shallow for about 250 meters.

However the older kids that hang out here every year (not specific) are sometimes really rude, tend to swear and talk dirty a lot.

So please keep younger children closer to the beach and farther from floating platforms...
