Stayed there for a weekend in July. I wasn't impressed by the place. I would rate it as just ok. There were no sewer hook ups, but they did have water and electricity which was nice. The site was a bit small and right on the water. It would have been scenic, however, there is a road and a guard rail right on the other side of the water so it made it feel as if you were just staring at a road with cars going by. Also, the campground was noisy. There seems to be industrial work near by and there were alarms (possibly a vehicle backing up) for most of the day. Then at night, there were trains. Lots of trains. If you're looking for a campground right in Perth for say just the weekend, this place would be acceptable for convenience sake. If you're looking to relax and have a quiet stay, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Also, I found it kind of strange they don't sell any firewood there yet you can't bring...
Read moreMiss this place so much. It always floods in the summer and is just the greatest to take your shoes off and walk through the wet squishy grass. There's so many beautiful things about this park. So many celebrations held here for young and old. It is the centre and heart of our community and we cherish it and tale care of it very well. There is never any garbage on the ground and the bins are never over flowing. In the winter it is like a hallmark movie. But we know that that live here. So lucky to have such a wonderful place in such a...

There are some unserviced sites available all the time. There is a laundry room, washrooms and showers. Being on the river/wetland means lots of mosquitos, and they are silent and relentless, so we were chased inside our...
