Peterborough Axe Club — Attraction in Peterborough

Today was my birthday. We decided to go axe throwing for the first time. Super easy to find. We walked in to a clean, open space and were greeted immediately by a young man named Craig. He gave us the waivers to sign, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He set us up with a lane. Explained technique, safety and how to play. He allowed us to take practice shots and helped us with our form. We then played, laughed, bought some beverages and had an absolutely wonderful time. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks were available in a nice assortment. The prices were reasonable for the drinks and the price to play was very reasonable. I arranged a girls night out for this past Saturday (January 18th) and I could not be happier with our experience

from the moment we got there, everyone was incredibly helpful and friendly. we had Nicole as our instructor and she was incredible. she was funny, engaging, informative and fit right in with our group of girls!

the facility is clean, bright, and most importantly SAFE!! the staff are attentive and don't mind when you ask questions or make silly comments. everyone is welcome and included and there is NOTHING TO BE NERVOUS ABOUT coming here. they take care of everyone from absolute beginners right up to elite players.

Our group of girls are already planning our next girls night out to visit again and hopefully Nicole will be ready to hang out and guide us again!

Nice atmosphere, very clean and well kept. Went with a big group and axe throwing is fun but man is the price steep. 38$ per person is insane and not to mention the machine asks for a tip on top of that. A lot of us were stunned at how expensive it was. They also didn’t replace a single board the entire time we played and the one side was pretty bad. Went to Lindsay a couple times when they were open there and they seemed to be more on top of changing out the wood during the sessions and the pricing was definitely cheaper. I understand inflation and all but they didn’t even swap out a single board for a huge group. Hard to...
