Staff at this location are fantastic. Many of them have been there for a number of years and I always look forward to having a quick visit with them (which can be difficult when there is a lineup of cars behind me in the drive thru). I'm also always impressed by how quickly they are able to move large numbers of cars through that drive through in a seemingly near non-stop stream all day. Really, this particular location is special - and could/should be used as an example among Tim Hortons locations - it is a very small location with a variety of challenges related to that small size, including staff working in a very cramped and crowded environment made even more challenging by how busy this location is (frequently cars lined up out to or onto the road, and customers on foot lined up out the door ... but the staff move that traffic through with military speed and efficiency).
My only criticism is that I would like to see (and this applies to all Tim Hortons locations that I've been to) more effort put into addressing product shortages: For example, well BEFORE all cookies are sold out MORE should be in the oven to ensure a continuous supply. I realize that there are specified "bakers" and baking shifts, but I don't think it beyond the skills of any of the staff to put a tray of cookies into the oven at any time of the day. Eggs and hash browns, for example, should not run out 30 or 45 mins before the end of breakfast service. THAT SAID ... I also understand and appreciate that it is a very fine balancing act - particularly at small locations like this - to have the products needed at all times WITHOUT having excessive wastage of products that haven't sold before they have to be thrown out. So, maybe there is little or nothing more that management can, in fact, do to ensure that ALL products are available at ALL indicated times -- No doubt, despite your best efforts, one day you run out of something and you say to yourself that you'll make sure that doesn't happen tomorrow .. and then when tomorrow arrives customer demand is different and you are left with product having to...
Read moreReview changed from 1 star to 3 stars I need to make an edit to this review, as I've been at this location since this incident and I have to give a shout out to one of the employees I often deal with at the drive thru. Her name is Sydney (I believe) and she is FANTASTIC. She is always so friendly and outgoing and is the reason I come back to this location despite my initial experience. Please let her know how fantastic she is. Thanks!
Girl with coloured hair (either pink or red) at the window was EXTREMELY rude. She seemed less than pleased that she had to take my money for my order. I assume there was supposed to be someone else doing this and the pink-haired girl was to just give me my food after I paid? Anyways, she then said "I guess I'll take it then" while shaking her head. I'm fairly certain she swearing under her breath as she did so.
I was shocked by this rudeness and heard her say "why is this girl so shocked" to her co-worker(s). I then asked her to repeat what she said to me and told her that she was being extremely rude. She said that she didn't mean to come across this way. Don't know how else to interpret someone rolling their eyes and swearing at a customer.
Completely made me feel unwelcome and she displayed very poor customer service. Will not be going to this location again. Very...
Read moreLived by this timmies for years and always had slow service never really judged it’s a small location. Then one day my mom went through the drive thru and ordered like she normally does, she got to the window and they started screaming at her not to come back and she was banned because she was rude last time she was in…. Meanwhile my mom had just bought a new coffee maker and hadn’t been to that timmies in almost 2 months, when she tried to say maybe they had the wrong person as she had no idea what they were talking about they gave her her drinks and said if she didn’t leave they would call the police. All I know is they’ve lost my entire families money as we won’t be going back, and if I didn’t move to Hamilton I’d be taking it up with the manager myself because...
