Worst kids park have ever been to. By saying worst, i really mean so. The management and staff cannot be any worse Just got back from our trip there and was very disappointed. We have been planning on taking the kids to Mega Parc for few weeks now as we live in Montreal and were wondering if a 3 hours drive is worth it especially to our kids who are 4 and 2.
Arrived there a bit late but it was ok as we thought that we wouldnt need more than two hours to experience the rides suitable for their age group. Here is what exactly happened to us from the moment we arrived until the very end. 1- stood in line for nearly 30min to purchase the tickets for myself, my wife and the kids and btw the prices of the tickets are way too high for the little activities available. After I paid, the person at the cashier advised that i wouldnt need to purchase tickets for the adults (my wife and I) if we were not going to play but just watching the kids play and she would refund me the tickets bought for the adults as they are not needed (receipt of both purchase and return are with me) which she did. I ran to my children to give them their tickets as they were very excited to start playing and went straight to the closest activity which was the merry go round. 2- at the merry go round: after waiting for our turn, the kids tapped their bracelet to enter and boom " invalid tickets". This employee was the nicest one and understood us and let the kids ride with our suppervision on the game. 3-We rushed to the second activity not to waste any minute and boom again "invalod tickets". This young lady here did not allow the kids to enter the game and what annoys me is that she saw how upset the kids got and was heartless towards them. I told her to let them in and i will go directly to the cashier to fix the issue, but she made it a big deal and decided to call the manager. I did not wait for the manager to arrive as i did not expect any good from him and rushed to the cashier where they made me wait 15min to fix the bracelts (ticket) where she could have just exchanged them for me in seconds. Running back to my family to see my children litterally disappointed as well wating at the corner and the great manager could not take the decision to let them in. Finally the ticket issue was fixed. 4- my girl is 2 for God's sake and if me or my wife want to enter a game with them its to watch them and not enjoy it ourselves as adults. Especially if it was a play area not a roller coaster.
We all left this place with a huge disappointment on our face, our children did not say a word on our way back home.
Around 70$ was spent for tickets and my kids were able to play with only 3 games. Not to mention the petrol paid for our trip back and forth. We obviously need such places nearby with better management and staff services. Alot more incidents occurred today but it woud exceed the limit of...
Read moreVery disappointing visit to the Mega Parc yesterday during March break. We purchased our tickets days ahead thinking they were being smart and proactive adding caps to the amount of tickets they are selling. We were wrong!!!! We arrived at 10 am and waited 50 minutes to receive our pre-purchased bracelets while the lineup for the purchase of tickets was minimal. The lineups for rides were unbelievable we never experienced this at la Ronde or Disney waiting 75 minutes for the Roller Coaster, 80 minutes for the Telegraphe and 50 minutes for the 4D. These are the only 3 rides my son was able to take. We thought we would eat a late lunch, do some shopping and in the meantime the lineups would subside but no, they decided around 4:30-5 to sell even more tickets! My son waited 40 minutes for another ride and we gave up seeing we would wait at least a another 20 minutes.
Upon leaving I spoke with the Manager to provide feedback. They maybe could of been more proactive knowing it was NB ans QC March break by increasing price and selling less tickets per/day ensuring kids would be able to do more rides.
This really was a loss of a day, 2 very sad kids looking forward...
Read moreI have SN kids and they went only in 2 rides it is very expensive 45$ just for my 12 years old luckily I got a free company pass so I can ride the 2 with him . I don’t understand why now is like that . If someone just want to ride 1 rides they can’t ! Also the pass that I got after 2 ride stop working on my daughter so I went to customer service so they can give me another . We return to the ride that we wanted to go that is locate down they told me that now is my SN son not working . The employee let me go this time but told me that I need to return to costumer service to have another one . I already lost around 45 minutes since I have SN kids I needed always to use the elevator , waiting in line and only supervisor can do that . We went to eat and try one more ride and didn’t work but the employee was nice enough to let us in ( I did show him the receipt also ) . Also there wasn’t a lot of people but still is very slow to do the rides . Hope you change your way so people that just want one ride can do it and even more...
