Superb place in summer for everyone People do exercise and also jogging and walking Amazing place for kids to play. Good spots for people who are looking for a peace time and want to be alone or with their loved once. Cool breeze from the river and a lot of water activity going on near by. Just if you are new be careful of Canadian goose. They are mostly in their own space but if they feel threatened they will chase you. Splash pad and good playground equipment for kids. Clean maintained washrooms. Lots and lots of picnic tables and benches all over the park. Beautiful greenhouse on site you can visit. Lots of staff maintain the park wonderfully,grass is well trimmed and not a lot of garbage all over the place. The sailing club and Topsail island are accessible from the same parking lot.
