dont bring tools here, they offer roughly 5-10% of discounted msrp, as opposed to the ~20% of full msrp generally offered at shops outside the sault. just sell on fb or wait til you gotta leave town to pawn large amounts of tools. They frequently try to quote heavy online-only sales at stores as the base price for their purposes, and they generally dont look close enough to confirm they are actually comparing the same product. failure of basic research. other reviews seem to be accurate in this regard.

also expect to be banned from all 3 pawn shops for leaving negative reviews as they are in bed with one another and really cant handle criticism. most of the positive ones are left by family and close friends of the owners, as can be gleaned from a cursary search.

for context, they have offered me 15$ for a 180$ ratchet set with breaker bars, 70$ for a 350$ impact driver set (they cited a sale at canadian tire for a different, older set and i felt it not worth arguing with em), 95$ for a 550$ membrande welder and they didnt even know what it was, list goes on and on.

all in all, if you have a small electronic or some old sports equipment, go for it, they arent the worst for that stuff, but otherwise jus dont, more worthwhile to post to facebook, its also why there isnt a whole lot besides sports equipment and small electronics (consoles, phones etc)... because they cant afford to pay a decent asking price so they dont get decent stock. perhaps thats just a product of the local economy but id still avoid it for buying...

They like to make things look alot less then there value and they try to send perfectly good games away because of attitude issues in the shop. I would not recommend savings workd to anyone who wants at least close to your value. And if you want good service with no attitude then please find else where to pawn or sell your products. My rating will not change for this establishment. Also have respect for others belongings. I've brought in a speaker a few times and every time I come get it. It's dead. When it went in fully charged. And if it was off it wouldnt lose power plus they dont like to take care of discs. They will drop them back I to a case without securing the item. No good and they need to be shut...

They have no idea what they're talking about with basically anything, none of them have enough knowledge in any field to make a deal of their own volition, google serves as their brain. This would be fine if the arrogant staff had any clue what to even look for half the time. Usually they misquote product pricing not realising you're offering a superior or newer product.

Also the pawnshops are owned and staff by friends and family of eachother, I mean REALLY connected, like "Hapsburg chin" kinda connected. So if you review one badly, you get banned from em all, they can't handle words.
