My second time coming to do the scream train. To start, my first time was in 2023, Entered the station two lovely people at the counter greeted us took our tickets asked us if weâd like to buy some snacks then directed us to the train. The set pieces, lighting effects were well executed and vibrant, most of these probably came form the spirit Halloween store, but all well put together. All the actors were fun and interactive and even improvised on their characters. I love towards the ending, all the actors united and surrounded the train on both sides and were saying their respective dialogues based on the character they were portraying and interaction with the riders. Chainsaw Charlie was cool, and it really seemed he was going to kill us lol. I also liked the werewolf actor doing his howl (fan of werewolf lore) I left laughing and wanted to come again next year and pretty much making it a yearly thing.
As of this year Iâve done a lot of Halloween haunted house type activities as October is also my birthday month and made it a point to return to scream train as a re-do attraction this year.
This time 2024, scream train was sadly a let down.
From entering the little station the person behind the counter seemed uninterested and lacked any emotion. Just asked tickets and directed people to the station, didnât ask if weâd like to buy snacks, nothing.
the lighting effects were not effective. The actors this time (Iâm pretty sure itâs a new cast as this is a seasonal job) were definitely not up on their game, they tried but âmehâ just screaming âarraaaghâ and âyou are going to dieâ like NCP characters lol set pieces were not vibrant as they were last time, some were not even working. Lack of interactive elements to the ride and the ride seemed short because of how âmehâ the whole thing was. The ending didnât have the âall monsters surround the trainâ part to give the riders the Halloween cheer and send off. Left feeling disappointed as this was my last spooky activity. Earlier did, PNE fright nights, dreadworks nightmare factory, haunted manor escape rooms, corn mazes, horror movie nights etc and Scream train was the last Halloween activity.
I might give this cute train a chance in 2025 during my Halloween month to-do activity list, if it turns out a disappointment as it was this time, then scream train will be a thing I will sadly...
Read moreA truly wonderful and heart-stopping ride, with dedicated and passionate scare actors who delight in terrorizing poor, hapless passengers!! And at a remarkably affordable rate, too!
Oftentimes, even waiting in line can become a thrilling and delightfully ghoulish experience as the fiendish fellows lurking in the woods come out to play on the deck with the unaware victimsâI mean customers, who never expect silly little clowns or haunting spirits to skulk right up behind their unsuspecting backs and give them a shriek!
Not to mention, even with the talented workers already mentioned, the props and scenery are also top notch! Many devious sights await the unwary, with ghastly witches and dapper undead statuettes eagerly intoning malicious monologues ad infinitum, not to mention how all manner of tall horrors loom over the train as you pass, grasping limbs reaching like the branches of withered trees.
But beware, even those monstrous backgrounds may yet be other creatures of the night merely playing the part of mannequins and the like, readying themselves to lurch forwards the moment you take your unsuspecting gaze from their terrible forms!
And just when you finally believe youâre free and safe? Well, you never know when a cackling lunatic might start chasing you out of the park!! After all, the ride only ends when the sun rises againâŠ
Do come by, friends and foes, and enjoy a wicked experience unlike any...
Read moreOur school had a âsports dayâ, every year at this school (I have graduated). It is an amazing park. The grass is green, and on a sunny day, it seems beautiful. The track is partially made of rubber, so it wonât hurt your joints as much. This makes it great for all ages. They also have some workout equipment off to the side of the track. There are two main playgrounds. One is for the younger children, and the other is for older children. There are bouncy animals (?), small slides, and pretty much average stuff for the playground (younger children). The older children one has much more. There are swings (disks), nets to climb, large slides, and much more! There is also a nice water park, which is great for the hot days! They also have a trail, which is amazing. You can see the creek, and there are so many flowers. Just be careful not to damage the scenery! The only thing I do not like is the litter! People have picnics, and leave plastic bags, bottles, and other general trash. It is such a pity that people do this. It is not the fault of the park. Instead, people should clean up after themselves! Please keep this in mind, if you will have a picnic, or be using items that could...
