If I could give zero stars I would. This company, for lack of better words, sucks. I’ve sent them a few emails over the last two weeks regarding our experience at their event and have yet to hear anything besides the automated response of “if your event is this weekend we will be in touch soon, if it’s not we will be in touch in a week…” We are new to Calgary and are not familiar with the area, nor do we have a car to get to the event so we took an Uber to the address that was listed on four of the emails I was sent as well as the google calendar reminded the day of. We spent an hour looking for the site on foot after being dropped off, there were no signs to help find the area nor were there any directions on the event guide I was sent on how to get there, only were to park at the event, which was useless to us. When we arrived I asked to speak to someone about our experience and looking for a partial refund, all I got in response was to contact customer service. There is no customer service, there is one email, that they don’t even respond to. Despite all that we did go onto the bounce castles since it took so long to get there, we were extremely disappointed To find 7 of them, the adds oversold what this event would be cause it was a disappointment from the moment we walked in. The inflatables were extremely under inflated, you sank as soon as you walked and you couldn’t even bounce, I worked for an inflatables company for two years and this event was poorly executed. I highly recommend staying away from their events, one of the worst experiences we’ve had since...
Read moreThis event was the biggest disappointment ever. We spent $200 on tickets and travelled over two hours just to get there. When buying tickets you have to choose a time slot. We chose 3:30pm on Sept 15th (was fully available online). Got the little ones packed up and headed to Edmonton only to find out that the event was already closed. There were numerous families there, and you can only imagine the tears from all the little ones watching this giant bounce park be dismantled in front of them, not getting to play at all.
The employee told us emails were sent out (all the parents were frantically checking their emails all to find no email whatsoever), and that we would at very least receive reimbursement for the tickets.
Fast forward a few days. The Big Bounce company refuses to respond to any correspondence, so we contact the ticket distributor (Fever). They were at least responsive and polite, but eventually said they spoke with Big Bounce and they are absolutely refusing to reimburse the tickets.
I know $200 isn’t a ton of money, but it’s just so disheartening that a company that is centred around kids entertainment has shown no remorse or responsibility for selling false tickets and disappointing loads of kids and families. And aside from contacting the banks (which I already have), I’m not really sure what...
Read moreIt appears this is the new google page for this scam company since they're rating is trash. Apparently they pull this a lot. Received this email at 440am "Unfortunately, due to a change in our event schedule, we have no choice but to cancel". They were open yesterday through next week what possible change to the schedule could there be?
Just recieved another email at 730am and now the excuse is "techical issues" so i guess they're straight up lying now.
*edit: an attendee the day before stated they were shut down early by police due to safety violations. I'm not a lawyer but I'd assume that would make their cancellation statements lies and their terms of service are void due to operator negligence
It also appears they like scamming people on refunds too so I'd encourage everyone just to file fraud complaints with their cards. If they're payment processing is blocked they're out...
