Been going here since I was a kid, I love the complex I wish they'd have kept the old hot tub/ sauna areas as well so capacity wasn't always at max but it is great. Alot of decent upgrades to the facility, would like to see expanded hot tub for sure.

Love coming here I take a person I support here once a week. The staff are super amazing to myself and most importantly to the young man I support. :)

We go to the complex fairly often. The pool is large, and they have toys for the children to enjoy although they could stand to have more toys.

The pool is probably the dirtiest one in the city. The hot tub is always over capacity, closed, or lukewarm temperature. The hot tub area was better when it was located in each change room.

Today we used the family change area because we bring our toddler. As usual, the bathroom smelled like it had not been cleaned all year. It was putrid and always is. Cleaning staff should be going in there regularly to wipe down the toilet and floors and it is evident that they do not.

The shower areas are full of hair and dated. And at least one of the family showers the showerhead did not rest on its holder.

The shower decks are always dirty. We used the little kid pool today and the area between the pool and the wall was full of debris, sand, and other dirt. The showers are just as bad. During our last visit to the complex, the little kid pool was full of sand in the corners.

This pool is exceptionally busy and requires far more cleaning than what is provided. Each time we go we are disappointed with...

The Canada Games Complex is a great place to go for people of all ages. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable as well as helpful. There is a variety of wheelchair accessible gym equipment as well as a lift to access the pool. There are parallel bars, raised mats, accessible change rooms and an arm ergo-meter, that also are great if you use a wheelchair or some such mobility device. The inclusion services office for the City Of Thunder Bay is right in the Lobby, next to an ongoing local art exhibit. They are always ready to assist anyone seeking assistance. There is a lower membership rate for persons with disabilities and seniors, assuming it is because there is a limited amount of accessible activities for some persons such as *myself. *If you have weakened muscles and are unable to use your arms, there are a few things you can use with assistance. There are some who go there just to enjoy the social aspect, interacting with people of all ages!

It is a great facility and comes highly...

the desk staff, daycare and cordinators are amazing! but the cleaning lady sucks the sauna benches are always slimy, under the benches I don't think has ever been cleaned. the bathrooms constantly smell like piss. I once asked to fill up one of the sanitizer bottles she told me not to worried about it and that she'd clean my machine- the bottle was still empty the next day.. for some reason she is more worried about the counter tops and drinking fountain to stay dry then general sanitation. I have been in a line for a drink once and she would not let anyone drink till the whole thing was dry. also she is always hiding in the change rooms reading...juat sayin maybe she needs help maybe she needs a break I don't know but something should be...
