Calvary Church Toronto — Attraction in Toronto

This is a really excellent church. With a very loving Christ centered staff and congregation. A place to come and worship God and meet good friends who really care about what happens to you all week long. The sunday school is excellent and all the staff have had to pass security precautions and training and know their bible. So you can sit and relax and drink in the word from a excellent get your hands dirty type pastor. He is a blessing to us all. After the service there is a variety of programs for teens to the elderly and for young heads of families. We all meet for coffee if you like for about 20 minutes for a quick snack and chat. Good time to catch up with and meet other people in the church. It's not to long for the shy types but long enough to meet someone that maybe you want to take the friendship to another level as God will direct you. These are perilous times and we need God more than ever. All of us from the youngest to the oldest. Come give us a try even more important come give Jesus a chance in your life all things will become new!!! We all belong...

We arrived a few years ago and were warmly welcomed at Calvary. As a family we had been praying for a church that had strong biblical teaching, a great children's ministry and youth groups and opportunities for our growth through Bible studies. Calvary had all these plus wonderful worship music that wasn't just a performance. Our family enjoyed the diversity of age and cultural background we have experienced. We quickly found many opportunities to get involved. We immediately felt right at home and knew we wanted to be part of this church community. We would highly recommend this active and growing...

They offer many programs and organizations to support here, sometimes it feels like the entire service is an infomercial, but personal sanctification and holiness seems to be secondary to personal comfort and duty.
