Finch and Leslie Square — Attraction in Toronto

I visit the Chinese supermarket here. They have a wide range of products especially the ones Africans may like - hard chicken, seafood, butchery, fresh fishes, seasoning, fresh veggies, sauces, flower, noodles etc.

My only reservation is there's no English speaking staff on the grounds so if you cannot find something, you're most likely going to be going around in circles. If you try to talk to someone they instantly tell you "no English". Sometimes you're fortunate enough to meet one that can speak English or understands what you're saying.

I get that it is a Chinese owned store and they want to employ their people, but they should at least have one employee who can speak English and is able to help customers with shopping.

That asides, it's 5 stars for me as their prices...

Horrible food & service quality! We were there to enjoy the dumsum during the weekday. We ordered the fish congee with several other items. The lettuce inside the congee were all so rotten with full of yellow leaves, and the fish tasted truly like the rubber tires. Very disgusting, how much will a fresh green lettuce costs to this restaurant?? Also the dimsum we ordered were not fresh at all, smelled like overnight left over. We could tell the reason why their business were down since they newly opened 2 year ago. More over, during our one hour stay the mangers over the counter kept yelling & arguing so laudly at each other that making us leaving earlier before we could even finish off our foods.

Strongly not recommended, definitely will not come...

The spaces in front on the north gate, near the Chinese Halal Restaurant (see photo), should not be for parking. Once cars are parked there, the entrance becomes more narrow and it's extremely dangerous to enter or leave through that entrance. It seems they are marked for not parking but people didn't seem to care. They should patrol and issue tickets if that's the case. Also, there seemed to be no handicapped parking spots. The plaza management, Kwan & Kwan Property Group, didn't seem to care any of these.

You can't get to the CIBC ATM after hours because the plaza doors are locked.

Parking is extremely hard to find during busy hours. The parking lot itself is dirty, with garbage and cigarette butts everywhere. The loading area is smelly...
