Upon review of the City of Toronto website; Dear Oliva Chow, Mayor for the City of Toronto, and Wendy Walberg, City Solicitor for the City of Toronto, and & Kirsten Franz, Deputy City Solicitor, Litigation, for the City of Toronto.

Some people believe that they have a right to bully and be aggressive and intimidate and demand that they have a reserved spot in the Saturday morning yoga class at the Jimmie Simpson Recreation Centre. (JSRC). They were defensive in their self-serving grandiose megalomaniac narcacistic language. In my corporate and legal education and experience, I feel comfortable stating that this type of language and conduct appears to be a pattern of demonstrated behaviour.

No person has ever indicated that we have to reserve a spot in yoga class. A review of the City of Toronto website lacks any booking system to attend yoga classes at the JSRC. Either the bully is lying or shame on the Jimmie Simpson Recreation Centre for failing to notify or publish an app or booking system for people to reserve spots in yoga classes. Something about needless embarrassment or humiliation comes to mind. What happened to first come, first served? If you don't show up on time to get your favourite spot, it sucks to be you.

If I understand correctly, the City of Toronto does not allow acts of bullying or intimidation or aggressive language or actions against any staff or attendees while in attendance at the JSRC.

I have a suggestion to the legal department on how to save the City of Toronto taxpayers a lot of money from the legal department attempting to defend the indefensible. I trust that the City of Toronto and the Jimmie Simpson Recreation Centre will provide clear guidance to all the yoga and pilates instructors, that they shall impress upon the attendees that there are no rights to a reserved spot. Attendees have no right to threaten, or bully, or intimidate or aggressively assert they are commandeering 'my spot' and will defend it aggressively. AND! There is zero tolerance to any form of bullying or intimidation or threats or aggressive language or behaviour.

I am an easygoing human. Please and thank you go a long way with me.

Notwithstanding, I have a right to defend myself against any bullying, intimidation, or aggressive language, or acts against me or other people. I am a veteran. I have been instructed and examined in law. The law of self-defense is clear on this matter. After working 30 years in law, experience has taught me to just call the non-emergency number for the Toronto Police. I explain the Actus Reus and ask for the assistance of the police in keeping the peace.

In my experience, a bully will never disclose if they are threatening or intimidating a person. They just derive another inuendo threat. The staff at JSRC do not have the power of a police officer when conducting an investigation. Concurrently, in my experience, any investigation would be one-sided in order to protect the City of Toronto from liability. I know the litigation game all too well. None of you are my lawyer(s), and as such, you are not entitled to prescribe me legal advice.

Being a nonemergency, it takes time for the police to arrive. By the time everything is said and done, I will also ask the police to instruct the offender not to come within 500...

This is a good pool. Not amazing and not updated but it’s good. The staff are helpful and it’s clean. I swim here often and always have a nice experience. They have classes and even classes for folks who are doing their scuba diving certifications. The only thing that’s not great is the way the change rooms are. They are also the bathroom and you have to go though the change room to get to it. So if you are changing when there is an event in the adjacent park. You are not going to be happy because everyone is swinging open the door and watching. It’s an older center so not much to be done. One thing to mention is the kids pool is quite large and separated so if you have kiddos. This would be a good...

The toddler pool is shallow, with two steps all along one side of the pool going down to a gradual slope from 1' to 2'. There's a varied assortment of toys including balls, rings, boats, water wheels, and animals. The combination can result in a lot of bigger kids splashing about, so toddlers might prefer hanging out in a quiet corner of the pool. Friendly staff are alert and good at both encouraging play and defusing conflict.

The change rooms have small lockers, but there are benches near the pool where you can leave your things. The lifeguard even let me feed my kiddo a snack on the bench, which was super handy. Showers are warm, and there's a shower with an adjustable...
