Absolutely horrible in every possible way, from quality of service to quality of food.

The veggie spring rolls: not as good as the frozen spring rolls you buy at the grocery store, except at the store a box of 20 costs $10. Here 5 spring rolls the same size costs $8.

The “fresh” spring rolls: the lettuce was old and wilting, the mango was hard and nowhere near ripe, and 2 of the 6 pieces completely fell apart on the plate when we tried to pick them up. We asked if they would take 1/3 off the price since we couldn’t actually eat 1/3 of the dish. They said No.

The pad graprao with crispy pork: this dish is typically made with ground pork, but here it was large chunks of roughly cut pork. I moved all the pork to a second plate and separated the pieces that were (very overcooked) meat from the pieces that were simply giant chunks of fat. Half of my serving was actually just straight up fat. I asked if they could adjust the price given half the “meat” wasn’t actually meat, and the half that was I didn’t touch because of how dry and hard it was due to the overcooking. They said No.

When we arrived the place was empty, eventually two other tables had couples. The service was still very slow, and when we were brought our spring rolls and fresh rolls we were provided neither plates, napkins, nor utensils. I had to go and ask for them from the server myself.

After we’d finished our food it took me more than 15 minutes to get the server’s attention in order to get our bill. At no point during our meal did she check in on us to see if our meal was okay or to see if we needed anything. Like you know, plates…

Had they given us 50% off our meal I would say that we overpaid. Had I not been on a first date I actually would have refused to pay the whole bill.

Absolutely. Horrible. Can’t wait until these guys go out...

Ordered a Green Curry with tofu and vegetables, , waitress repeated order back to us. A Green Curry with shrimp arrived. Had to send it back. When correct order arrived found it very bland. Had to request hot sauce (was given chili oil) to give the curry any sort of kick. Thai food is supposed to be spicy is it not? Would have given this place a lower rating but my wife enjoyed her Pad Thai, though we had to get the waitress’s attention to get a pair of chop sticks after she dropped the plate off. Better options in the city. In response to the reply to my review; What is the point of having a “Special Order” that is not on the menu and the customers have no knowledge of?? Considering your server got my order wrong, even though she repeated it back to me then served a sub par meal, I doubt I will take you up on your offer. I know restaurants have suffered greatly in the last couple years, but I have little interest in supporting a restaurant or an owner that doesn’t even acknowledges their sub standard service we received. When I worked as a server, it was our job that we checked to make sure the kitchen got the order correct before we brought it out to the customer. I find it interesting you didn’t touch on this in your response. Then you made some lame excuse that I could have requested something that wasn’t actually on your menu? Thank you for your offer, but since I usually dine out with family or friends I wouldn’t want them to be patronizing your establishment for my benefit. There are many other restaurants in the city...

After the Thailand festival, my friend and I were craving for thai food. We decide to head uptown and check out this place. Since my friend speaks thai, it was a lot easier to decide what's good.

At first, we were thinking of Som Tum (dried shrimp or salted crab with papaya salad) since another friend recommended. However, since we wanted the Karee Soft Shell Crab, the waitress suggests to go with the fried morning glory instead. We added a fusion dish called the spaghetti pad kee mao to see what it looks like.

First came the fried morning glory and it was HUGE!!!! Crispy fried thai spinach at the bottom topped with shredded carrots and papaya with a sour taste, and you eat it with this dipping sweet sauce. Beware for those who are allergic to peanut as there's plenty in the sweet sauce.

Next was the crab. 4 soft shell crabs garnished with bell peppers and onions and coated with this curry flavor sauce was absolutely delicious. This was my favorite dish among all.

Both of these dishes were huge and we didn't think we could finish it, until the last dish came. The fusion dish was unfortunately not as impressive as the first two. It looks like beef pad sew from Thai Express but with spaghetti instead. It is a lot less oily with belly peppers and bamboo shoots. The taste was somewhat interesting, and it was pretty good. Comparing to the other dishes, this was my...

🌟 Authentic Thai Delights at Eat BKK Eat BKK Thai(Leslieville) Flavorful and Exquisite ✨ Last week, I had an incredible dining experience at Eat BKK that transported me straight to Thailand! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted by a warm and friendly staff who provided excellent service throughout my visit. The flavors of the dishes I ordered were simply extraordinary and captured the true essence of Thai cuisine. 🍲 Somtum:The Somtum was an explosion of vibrant flavors! The refreshing combination of fresh papaya, tangy lime, and a hint of spice made my taste buds dance with joy. 🍤 Frittto Misto:The Frittto Misto was a delightful medley of perfectly crispy seafood. Each bite was a treasure trove of succulent flavors, complemented by a tantalizing dipping sauce. 🍗 Krung Thep Wings: The Krung Thep Wings were a revelation! Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and coated in a heavenly Thai sauce that struck the perfect balance between sweet and savory. 🏞️ The authentic Thai ambiance at Eat BKK Thai enhanced my dining experience, allowing me to immerse myself in the vibrant culture of Thailand. The added convenience of street parking made it even more accessible. ✨ As Thai who living in Toronto, If you're searching for a truly authentic Thai experience, streets of Thailand, I strongly recommend Eat BKK! ✨

WHAT TO TRY?! The tom yum seafood soup and the Thai iced milk tea. I really enjoyed the food at this location. Service was good and the seafood I had in the tom yum soup was very succulent and flavourful. I just remember the shrimp being really big and the squid being fresh in the soup. The Thai iced tea was also refreshing to have with the Thai meal. I also had fried fish with mango salad and the fish were freshly fried. Not too oily, very light and crispy. Seasoning was very light as well. The Larah chicken was also comparable to what I had at other restaurants too. It's really pretty and colourful inside the restaurant because they have a graffiti wall that is suppose to make you feel like you're in Thailand enjoying some authentic Thai street food. They did spend quite the time to decorate their store front as well to make it look like it's a storefront you find in Thailand. Even the bathrooms are really colourful and full of artistic value as well. LAST TIP?! They have three locations of this restaurant and every location has their specialty dishes to cater to the palates of ppl in the specific community so you may not see all the same dishes offered at each location so make sure if you like a dish at this location, that you'd be able to find it at the other locations to avoid disappointment!

Wonderful Thai restaurant in such a cute part of Toronto! Their 15.95 lunch specials came with the soup of the day and two spring rolls. Portion of the main meal was not gigantic, but it was very reasonable for a lunch special. The soup of the day was pretty salty, would prefer it to be a tiny bit less intense, but it was still delicious. I got the pad thai lunch special and the fried fish + mango saland lunch special. Both tasted very good as an easy and filling lunch meal. I also got thai chicken wings which were pretty normal, nothing special. I would probably get something else next time though. But regardless, everything tasted very hot and fresh. I wouldn't say it's Michelin star or anything because the flavors didn't blow my mind, but it was still very good. Definitely great place to come for a casual lunch spot. Also, shoutout to my server, Yonge, he was so kind, friendly, and served us so well! Thank you so much for a great lunch experience EAT BKK!
