Me and my friend came to this place because we were hungry and saw that the rating was good however we were extremely disappointed by the rude staff. First of all the sashimi was really good but anything that had rice was horrible and the staff was so rude, it wasn't just one person either it was two people. We asked simple questions about the rolls and we asked if we can switch the rolls with something else for combo E and she acted as if i asked her if the sky was blue or not. On top of that when we wanted to pay our bill another waitress came by and she was also very rude and had a mean tone. I asked her about the price and she was like "I don't know I have to get the receipt for you" and ROLLED HER EYES. The horrible service did ruin our day and I work in food service so I know how customers should be treated and we weren't even rude customers. There was absolutely no excuse for this unnecessary behavior and I felt that the way they acted could have been out of racism because I am visibly Muslim. Either way I have never written a review before even for places I did not like but I genuinely feel that it was needed. Read moreI went with my friend here around 7:30 pm Sunday. The staff were awfully awfully rude. First lady acted like we said some gibberish as we are asking her about the combo choices. My friend is very specific of what she wanted so she asked if it’s possible that she could get the combo changed for it , the waitress said “yeah I guess I think we could but I have to check” we were okay with it . But when I asked something she looked extremely bored as if she was annoyed at our questions. Tell me , how are we supposed to order when you haven’t wrote stuff clearly on the iPad that we can change? No editing options nothing so of course we have to ask. Read moreI am surprised that this place has such good reviews, which was what attracted me to it. I arrived here today after work in good spirits and the customer service was horrible!! I don’t eat raw fish and wanted to know if certain choices had raw fish, the cashier was very unhelpful. After paying almost $80 for sushi and a tip despite the fact I was not dining in, I was given only one container of soy sauce, I asked the lady for extra citing that it was insufficient, she told me I would have to pay extra $2 for the sauce. I advised her that in all my years of buying sushi I have never had to request extra sauce because it has always been sufficient and if I had to pay extra for the sauce I will never patronize them in the future but she did not seem to care.
