While it's not a large park, it's really quite nice there. Children can play in the water that streams from the ground upward. There's a water trough that is refreshing for kids to play in, as well. There's a gazebo, which offers shade from the hot sun. There are gym sets for kids to play with. People often have picnics there. An I e cream truck comes by and sets up in the parking lot. (And parking is free) There are paved pathways that lead to the lake; and follow the shore. It's just the right type of park to take the family, whether walking, jogging, riding, or simply to sit and soak up the sun and atmosphere. You'll see all kinds of people there, from all sorts of backgrounds. It's for everyone! It's also right next to the GO train station, just in case that's convenient...

Overall, it is good for picnics and spending the entire day in the playground as well as as a little dip in the clear waters of the lake...which offers...

If u go at night on Canada day you can watch the fireworks from frenchman's bay and kinsmen park in Pickering. It just quiet, and beautiful. A great spot to go in our...
