I must admit that I didn’t plan to go here even thought I have lived in the community for ages now. I was actually pestered by some guests to go get Popeyes chicken so I did. Don’t care for Popeyes much but then after I placed my order I decided to to this Sushi place to taste what they have. So this was an accidental visit that I think really made me happy and actually also my guests.

So I got the Mango Tango Special and the black dragon roll. Both were quickly by two chefs in front of me in under 5 mins and packed for take out well. I paid about $32 in total.

Once we tasted the sushi at home it started to disappear so fast and finally all we had left was the Popeyes chicken which no one then wanted to eat cause that tasted so terrible when compared to this great sushi. There was something about the rice and it’s texture that we really liked. The taste was fresh and great and I loved that combination of flavours on the two rolls.

The place has some seating, I did not dine it but will try it in future. Seating looks small but unless I eat in I can’t say much so this review is more about the take out only. The food prep area was clean and the chefs were quick and looked so professional.

If the other dishes are just as tasty as the two I ate then we will be regulars...

I decided to try this place out for a quick lunch when on my way back from the GO station.

I was impressed with their selection of Lunch Specials, but ultimately decided to go with my 3 favourite classic rolls. Which were:

Spicy Salmon Roll Dragon Roll Yam Tempura Roll

I called ahead and placed an order and they told me it would take about 20min.

When I arrived, I saw that they offered a cash discount for 10% off. When I inquired, they told me that the discount only applies if you buy their loyalty card. This is the first time I've heard about purchasing a loyalty card, but anyway I decided to opt out of that as this was my first time here and I wasn't sure if I would become a regular here yet.

My total bill came out to $27 which is a tad on the pricey side, but I was willing to give it a go, especially based on their great reviews.

They food it self was pretty good. The quantity was great, but the quality wasn't amazing, mainly for the Yam Tempura roll. Overall, I did enjoy my food, but I don't think this will be my new regular spot.

Side Note: They do accept Credit, but they...

Food was good, reasonably priced and service was professional & curt.

There were 4 of us and we ordered Bento boxes, the lunch salmon, an Aki combo, and a Fuyu combo plus a sashimi/sushi/roll party tray to go. Service was good, it was mid-afternoon so we were served pretty quickly.

The atmosphere was a little under-par. The decor is outdated and dark, the chairs are showing their age being a bit worn with cracks appearing at the edges. These are all cosmetic and can be easily remediated.

The floor, however, does need some TLC. It’s way too “sticky”. I think too much cleaning solution is being used and not enough vacuuming of dirt or perhaps grease? The floor is crying out to be professionally cleaned. It’s a first impression that makes a big difference. Maybe this is what happens when 5 men work together without any women? 🤪

You guys are doing a great job on the food, now spend a little time on cleanliness. I can see how you likely do tons of takeout business. We will...

We can here as a recommendation. The day we came was not busy. Which is surprising for a sushi place on the weekend. The staff that served us were on top of use from the moment we came in. The menus that they offer is all you can eat as well as Al a cart. We ate from the all you can eat menu. It's a smaller menu compared to most all you can eat restaurants, but the food is just as good. Price is around 25.00 for the weekend from 1 person. The downside was all the rice that is packed into the rolls I thought it was a little too much rice, as I was full right after our first serving. The second thing is once we got the bill there was a tip already applied to the bill, we only had 3 of us at the table, so I know most places will. Automatically apply a tip of it's more than 8people.

I live 5 minutes away from here so decided to order for the first time. For 3 vegetarian rolls (2 avocado and 1 mushroom), I paid $16.50+tax, which turned out to be over $18 for something that fit in the palm of my hand! Such a small serving for vegetarian sushi. The ratio of rice to veggies is also terrible, more rice than veggies. And the nori was basically not closed all the way for half the rolls... Lastly, you must be their "loyalty member" to bypass tax when paying with cash (which I have never seen at Asian non-chain restaurants...). Won't be going back. You can get decent veg sushi elsewhere. See photos.
