Nobody else in the industry is as blatant about existing for the love of money and prestige over even a passing interest in art. Nobody on staff can answer a basic question about art fundamentals or has any credentials adjacent to art or art history. It’s so soulless it might as well be AI. When the customer base is comprised entirely of friends from golf and ski clubs, all of the glowing reviews will reflect this accordingly. Anyone else will be unwelcome.

Edit: The current gallery assistant who claims to be a professional photographer has an Instagram full of stolen photos which can be traced back to a Pinterest account which belongs to the same thief, who was not wise enough to not use her full name and face on that account. Prints for sale by actual professionals have been posted and not credited. This flagrant plagiarism is yet another appalling show of disrespect for and disconnect from artists and workers by Roberts Gallery.
Edit 2: Remarkably, this person is still employed here even after this business received multiple DCMA takedown notices from the original artists. The ethics here are not so much questionable as they are a bold statement shouted out loud (kinda like the aesthetic).
Edit I’ve lost count. Do these people ever do anything??: Nobody from this business has ever contacted me about this review. However, the Assistant to the Director has found my recently widowed mother and screamed at her to the point of tears on three occasions since it has been posted. Roberts Gallery has fallen so far they know harass and intimidate grieving families. You guys have my email. Please show respect for the dead and the grieving at...
Read moreRobert’s Gallery is a refined and welcoming space that consistently showcases a thoughtful selection of Canadian art. The staff are knowledgeable without being overbearing, and their genuine enthusiasm for the artists they represent makes browsing here a pleasure. The gallery’s layout is clean and inviting, allowing each work to breathe while still feeling connected to the larger exhibition. Whether you’re a serious collector or simply exploring, Robert’s strikes a rare balance between professionalism and approachability.
I loved the thoughtful curation and warm atmosphere. This isn’t the prettiest strip of DuPont, but the gallery brings so much...
Read moreRoberts Gallery is a jewel in the Toronto art market. From famous group of seven works to newer contemporary pieces, I always find myself in awe of the art on their walls. My entire family enjoys visiting the gallery and even my grandparents fondly recall buying art from Jack and Jennie Wildridge in the 1960s and onward and still proudly own a number of pieces in...
