This place is extremely welcoming to families especially those with children. There is a fully featured play area with slides, swings and sand. There is a mini water play area as well with stationary water guns.
Just outside of the kids play area you will find a large open field of grass where one can just sit, kick a ball or throw a frisbee as well. In the winter this area is sometimes turned into a small skating rink.
Aditionally on Saturday mornings until 1 PM you can find a local farmers market that has a variety of food, desserts and organic things. Cash only of course.
