This is one of those ‘Private neighborhoods’ Elegant houses neatly tucked behind old and humongous trees, not for effects, just how it is..There’s a buried creek here that pools to a very nice pond being used for skating in the winter months. The roads are uphill, downhill and turned all the way to loops, you’ll get confuse, I think that’s the idea so you don’t wander around here. So anyway, Taddle creek winds under those big houses and ends at Davenport Rd. Wychwood Barns Park is a dream! Go visit and say your oohh aaaahhhh. Enjoy!

Great Park that hosts many different outdoor opportunities. There is a large jungle gym for the little ones and as well as splash pad in the summer where the water sprinkles out of the ground. In the winter there was a small ice rink this past year currently looks melted. There are Community Gardens and the stop Community Food Center right in the middle of the park inside the Wytchwood Barns. There is a closed dog pen for dogs to run around in and volleyball courts in the summer.

This place is extremely welcoming to families especially those with children. There is a fully featured play area with slides, swings and sand. There is a mini water play area as well with stationary water guns.

Just outside of the kids play area you will find a large open field of grass where one can just sit, kick a ball or throw a frisbee as well. In the winter this area is sometimes turned into a small skating rink.

Aditionally on Saturday mornings until 1 PM you can find a local farmers market that has a variety of food, desserts and organic things. Cash only of course.

Definitely a great place to bring your kids or even just...

Wychwood Barns is a wonderful space, it hosts wonderful farmers market on the weekend and is a creative space showcasing artists. The farmers market has excellent vendors and live music often. The Park it's self does have a relatively new play structure for the kids and community garden spaces. It is not a really large park compared to others around toronto and there is not a huge amount of green space. The main reasons to visit Whychwood Barns Park is to visit Wychwood Barns for a community event. The park space is a nice compliment to the community space Whychwood...

This review is for the Saturday farmers' market. It's quite a social scene for kids of all ages and their dogs. Music plays! You will find local purveyors of vegetables, mushrooms, meats, fish, cheese, honey, bread, pastries and more, plus fast food and drinks of various styles and ethnic origins. Quality seems universally high and prices are reasonable for such an entertaining atmosphere. There's lots of green space, many TTC options, plentiful parking, and that stretch of St. Clair provides a variety of interesting shopping opportunities. Highly...
