Very good spot to bring dogs, specially it your dog likes water. Excellent spot to stop for some rest after a long walk, so the doggos can cool down on the water and make some friends.

After a certain point you will see the signs indicating that the leash-free area started, and you will also be able to see the dogs palying around be and swimming.

Dogs and owners in the area were very friendly and respectful of each other.

There might be dense patches of algae/greens in some spots, so be aware that kids and dogs that are not used to that might freak out when they swim through or touch it.

Water was calm and very easy to swim at; the place seems safe, but I would recommend to stay very close to your dogs and kids if possible, because there were a good amount of dogs and people, and that is always unpredictable.

There are floaters and hooks to assist people in need at regular distances, in case of an emergency.

There are garbage bins closer to the exits.

We went on a Tuesday afternoon and mostly spend the time close to the water...

The beach is beautiful, with pebbles, it's good to wear a water walking shoe. A negative point is the lack of available parking, it's a little far. The pet-friendly beach and dogs without a leash are allowed so if you don't like dogs running around you all the time it's better to look for another beach, The dogs get into the water and run all the time. At times we feel the odour of dog poop, I don't know if all the guardians pick up their animals' feces. I saw many families with children, There are not many trees to make shade, and many jet skis and boats pass in the distance and make waves, It is not allowed to drink alcohol on this beach. I...

This is one of, if not, the best beach in Toronto! This is a fully off-leash dog beach. I've seen reviews saying otherwise. They are NOT correct in saying dogs are to be leashed. So, if you want to picnic here with friends and family without the risk of a dog/dogs running over your setup, I HIGHLY suggest you venture further West back to Balmy/Kew Beaches as they are on-leash dog friendly beaches. The views here are beyond amazing. The water is cold, but so welcoming on those ridiculously hot days. Please be careful of the undertow, it can get pretty strong in...

Nice spot to chill & relax. Water is relatively clean but cold. The sand area is full of rocks so it can be hard/painful to walk to/from the water. Not very busy compared to other beaches. Dog friendly but dog must stay on leash. Parking it however rather difficult - must park on street but there are lots of signs that state the hours you’re not allowed to so must be careful as there are police cars roaming the area pretty often.
