This place is so perfect, me and my partner came to stay about 2 minutes drive from this absolutely beautiful and incredible location. We had the most wonderful time here. We planned a short notice stay for 6days and by the 3rd day we booked flights and accommodation to return in September. Everything about the area is beautiful. We came on a heat wave as well so we got to see the true beauty and how rich the community is. The locals all came out over the weekend to enjoy the sun. Parties on the parks, barbecue food cooking everywhere and the best bit about it, everybody was happy, cheerful and having a great time together. We spoke to a lot of the locals and 100% of them had nothing but great things to say about their town, city and country. So proud. The balmy beach was that perfect to us that I asked my partner to marry me on the rocks and she said yes. She said to me how everything in the moment felt perfect and I had my hand on the ring, I went for it and she said yes, so barmy beach park and all the friendly locals there, thank you for making our stay so perfect and always being a memorable spot for me and my wife to be for years to come. See you in September. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇺🇸🛫🛬🇨🇦 Ps. The locals are that friendly, I sneezed, and 2 people said “BLESS YOU”. I need to move to Toronto!!!!

Hey humans, Here's another review for you, hope you're having a good day, So we went out for a walk and I suggested this place because I've never been. And being the winter I think this beach would definitely be appreciated in warmer weather, to get the full experience. However, it's a huge boardwalk, and beach front. So there are not shortage of nice spots to relax, and take it all in.. Lots of fun things for the kids to do, random street entertainment which I could definitely appreciate, and oh yeah there is a beach, so there are numerous possibilities for things to do. Great place to relax, any time of the year, personally love being near the water, and there is definitely no shortage of that!! Anyway, that's all for now, definitely recommend you check it out for yourself, when you have the chance. Until next time, Cheers, Akil

City boat house where there is a footwash tap, and washrooms. Good playground for young kids! Just up the grass hill from the beach. Private Recreation and Dining club BBC has a gym and other amenities. Members only. There is volleyball in front of the club, but not sure if those are public or private. Where the boardwalk ends to the RC Harris Water Filtration Plant there is Off-Leash for dogs. Great off-leash are for dogs who have strong recall. There are no fences or gates. People without dogs set up in this area on weekends, but if they aren't using illegal barbecues on the beach, and people control their dogs with voice or leash, it's a great place to mix family fun with dogs. Bad for horseflies in the heat of summer. They attack dogs getting out of the water.
