I believe in supporting local businesses. Last Sunday, my mother and husband decided to discover beaches and support a local establishment instead of a big restaurant. We stopped at the remarkable bean. With limited spot, we were able to share a table with a very friendly gentleman. As we were trying to understand the menu and order food and drinks, the young cashier (skinny Caucasian girl with piercings and tattoos) was extreme rude and disrespectful. She was not interested in helping us. My mother asked few questions regarding select food items (given she has allergies) the cashier abruptly responded “it is what it says it is” I was taken back and almost walked out. My mother and my husband really wanted to try this spot. I did not want to cause a scene and stayed for brunch. Bottom line Food - just simply boring and tasteless, banana bread and muffins were dry Coffee - a decent cup Pies- stale and dry Overall, in todays climate, you are as good as the service you provide. When people are taking the time to come and spend money their hard earn money to support your establishment, show some respect. I don’t think I will be coming back. I hope you take a minute to reassess the service you provide. After this incident, we went to the bagel shop, cobs and the clothing store next door. It was nothing but a pleasant experience. It’s sad to see how your establishment stands out… not for the...
Read moreThat's burnt . Plain and simple. When your coffee beans are black and leave a carbon powder residue on my fingers . It's burnt. The coffee smells burnt. Smell like when you burn the hell out of your popcorn. Very disappointed in the Rocket Fuel as this was my favorite coffee. At 20.00 for 1lb of coffee . It's very expensive. But I don't mind treating myself. Went back to exchange to find out that all of the Rocket Fuel is black and over roasted. Speaking with the batista. I was informed that the roaster is broken and has been for awhile . Go figure 🤔 Been finding the quality here over the past year has really dropped. Not to nock the newer staff that have been there the past year but prior to that it was way better. Very disappointing my favorite coffee is no longer available. Fix your coffee roaster . Posted are a picture of the beans . You can see...
Read moreTucked away in my old neighborhood, this cozy coffee shop became my little sanctuary. Every visit felt like catching up with an old friend—familiar, comforting, and always leaving me in a better mood. The coffee? Smooth, rich, and consistently brewed to perfection. Whether it was a bold espresso to kickstart the day or a creamy latte on a lazy afternoon, it never disappointed. But the true star of the show? The cheesecakes. Silky, decadent, and just sweet enough to keep you coming back for “just one more slice.” Paired with a fresh cup of coffee, it was the perfect combination. The staff made the experience even better—always friendly, always smiling, and somehow remembering your usual order. I genuinely miss this gem of a place. If you find yourself in the area, do yourself a favor and drop by. You...
