Not a great experience. They are expensive so given that my husband and I were paying premium full rate we expected the get into our bay on time for our two hour booking. It was my husbands birthday. There were two players still in the bay we had booked who were taking a long time finishing anleaving to where we were late getting in to get settled and start up. Towards the end of play about 15 mins before our time was up we were told that their are people booked in the bay after us and if we’re not ordering food they will leave the bill with us. I said ok, but after that I was feeling rushed as we normally pay bill after we’ve finished at the bar. The girl left the bill with me. I thought ok I’ll pay when we’re finished playing. After that I was taken aback when another lady came over with the machine before we’d finished our time and wanted payment right then and there which I found pushy and made me feel rushed out. I was was wondering why we couldn’t just pay at the bar after our play as we’d done on previous occasions. That way we can just enjoy every minute of play that we’d payed for without being given the bums rush. I don’t mind waiting to pay at the bar after as I usually use the bathroom after and it takes time to collect our stuff. Her demeanor and the way she wanted payment right then and there during our play time left a bad taste in my mouth. It was tacky. I was tempted to say something. We’re paying top dollar for this time. It felt like being given the bill in a restaurant before we’d finished eating where we had a set time to eat! We left a bit earlier than our time since we were aware other people were waiting. We were unhappy. Anyway, afterwards I decided to leave a private message on their Instagram site detailing our experience to make the owners aware of my experience. I received a message back from the male owner asking for my telephone number so that the “older lady “ I had described in my message who wanted payment who was his wife and co-owner could call me back. I provided my number thinking I’d have a decent Conversation. I spoke to her on the phone but she made matters much worse. She was defensive and angry with me on the phone. Angry that I had left the message for her husband on their website.and that she’s the older lady in the message. I left a message Swing Golf Lounge not her husband particularly. I meant no disrespect by describing her as the older lady but she was the older of the two women there and all I was trying to do was differentiate between who came to me with the machine. Seems she took the fact that I left a private message on Instagram and described her as an older lady very personally! ? Instead of a conversation it was her a to g brusk angry and defensive. I asked her if she read the message which basically detailed everything. She said Yes, so I was wondering why she needed to call. A simple reply over Instagram private messenger in response to my message would have sufficed. Instead she made things worse by questioning why I had to leave a message why I didn’t I speak to her right away. She said your husband got a free hat for his birthday and what more do you want from me! I was in disbelief at her angry attitude at me. Sometimes people are upset but in the moment don’t wish to discuss it in a busy public place that’s why I thought a private written message would be better to get our feelings across. Further, at the time I wasn’t in the mood to discuss anything it was my husbands Birthday. Needless to say I felt more upset after the talk with the co-owner. They seem to have little regard for their customers experience and get angry when a negative experience is shared with them. We would have prefer to be treated well rather than have a hat! Why I am leaving 3 stars is the food situation, I bought my fiancé a gift card for Christmas with the intention of a nice date night for us as they advertise gluten free food options and wings. I also spoke to 2 staff members regarding this before I confirmed the GC purchase. We finally were able to book this past Sunday and planned to have lunch. To my shock the wings are actually not gluten free, they are breaded GF but are cooked in a shared frier with all other menu items. I was very disappointed to say the least as I have called to confirm this very question 2 times now and was told I am safe to eat, even before we booked this past weekend as well (I have celiac disease and was told they have a separate frier) Staff should really freshen up on allergy awareness and make sure they are answering questions correctly. Read moreGoing to give this three stars. The place is good but not great. Simulator was not able to pick up my drives consistently which was not wonderful. Comes down to the tech they use here really. There are other sims that have better tech and if you are a single digit HCP, you may have more luck with golfzon simulators as I find them far more accurate. Owner asked to follow up with me on the tech but never did (I know you are reading this and now remember me!). If you want to have some drinks and knock some irons around, great place. If you are going to practice in a sim that is close to something outdoors, I suggest you find other tech. Also, VIP room is a curtain as opposed to a separate room with a door.
