So I called ahead and placed my order at 1:27pm, I was told 20 minutes

I walked in at 1:45 and I was told 10 more minutes. I said okay no problem, I’ll wait in my car call me when it’s ready.

I walk in again at 2:05pm and I am told it will take another 5 minutes. Meanwhile I watch the waitress I spoke to at 1:45 stare at me and walk out no response and another one hand an order out to a customer who placed their order at 1:45.

Not sure why I was treated this way and jerked around for no reason, was it my skin color? Was it my attire?

You had enough staff that I could see just standing around talking and ignoring folks at the reception.

Clearly customers who ordered 20-25 minutes after me were served first. My order was just ignored.

Clearly a conscious choice was made here. When I asked what is taking so long? I was just told “ they just haven’t been able to take it yet.” I think that’s a lovely response.

I got my order at 2:10. My smoothie had spoiled at this point and was all watery with a solid chunk in the middle clearly it had been sitting around for half and hour.

I was handed the order outside so I grabbed it and while on the phone headed to my car. I drove out of the plaza and had to turn back because I realized I had not paid.

I don’t mind the wait. I don’t mind that I had to turn around to go back and pay because that’s the right thing to do.

I do mind that the smoothie was ruined. I do mind that the communication was horrible. I do mind that my eggs and bacon were cold and sad looking. I paid $33 for my breakfast and I waited almost an hour and got depressing food.

This was my first experience here. Make of that...

We visited this restaurant for brunch on a Sunday. Let’s just say, it was very busy but the queue system is very systematic and digital/virtual.

As you walk in, you can scan barcode to join the virtual waiting queue, which updates as you refresh and shows your spot and how many people ahead of you. This allows you to run other errands nearby or go into nearby stores that are in the same plaza. Really liked this system!

We waited about 35 minutes for our table. Once seated, within 5 mins our server took our order and in another 5 mins our drinks arrived. Our server was very friendly and kind. Mango smoothie was delicious and we could taste the mango was fresh not a boxed puree, the orange juice was freshly squeezed as well and cappuccino was small for the price paid but hot and yummy.

Our food was fantastic! Great presentation and tasty as well. We got the French toast with berries which was the perfect amount of sweetness and tart. Then we also got eggs Benedict - Santa Fe, this was so good that I would go back just for this. The home fries were very nicely seasoned and had flavour. Lastly we got a vegetarian omelet, which tasted good with the avocado filling inbetween but this isn’t good the following day.

Overall, we had a great first experience. Even though it was very busy, our server checked in with us and made sure we were happy with our food.

The prices aren’t cheap but pretty average now days however, I did like that the portions were decent - not too little or too much. We still had leftovers to take home but if you are hungry, you can finish your item.

Definitely recommend but just be prepared to wait on a busy...

I ordered a Ray's Extravaganza "Skillet" What a disappointment. When our food was first brought out, my food was very cold. The stark difference between my plate and my cousin's plate being completely hot and fresh was reason to believe something was wrong, so I asked to have to remade.

The girl serving us was sweet and I felt bad having to complain because I know I can be intimidating. She was great though. The problem with service came in when the person who appeared to be a manager returned to apologize, but she seemed unable to make eye contact with me. She spoke with my cousin, looking directly at her the whole time, while it was my plate that was made poorly lol. Very strange.

Anyway, when my fresh food came out, the home fries still weren't as fresh as my cousins were. While the eggs on top were hot, the food under it wasn't as hot as it should've been, but I was over asking for anything more. This is precisely why I don't like eating out in general.

But the thing is. This is a Skillet. Why are you serving anything as a "skillet" if it isn't sizzling when its brought out. Even when my "remade" "skillet" was brought out, the server was bare handed. The skillet, was a cold metal plate. Your normal plates come from the dishwasher hotter than this.

The Reality: Decent food, Good service had I not required extra attention. Not actually that bad. Just disappointed.

The Drama: Based on this egregious attempt to gaslight it's patrons that they are getting a breakfast skillet, I can't recommend anybody trust anything the menu says, or the company's ability to actually produce quality food with a little integrity for...

Great new brunch restaurant to the Etobicoke area. It has a great breakfast/brunch menu. Definitely recommended for brunch! We've been to the Pür & Simple location in North York and this location is very consistent in quality and service. Do note, you'll need a lot of time with their menu as it has over 11 categories to choose from ranging from eggs, waffles, crepes, pancakes and skillets. The menu paper placemats are double-sided with 1 corner for the bread options and also a mini menu if you're not too full for "2 Eggs with choice of"! They also have P&S potatoes that can be substituted with potato latkes! The portion sizes are very generous (sausages comes in orders of 3) and lots to eat, so make sure to come with an empty stomach! The food is delicious and our table ordered the "popular" (Farm Fresh Eggs) and "Ray's Extravaganza" skillet. The skillet was a tad salty and they didn't replace for the spicy Hollandaise sauce which was requested. Their latkes are pretty filling and very well fried. At a separate visit, we ordered the The Canadian (subbed all protein as sausages and tomatoes instead of home fries) with French Toast, The Keto, and The Cortez Omelette. The prices are roughly the same as some other brunch places I've been to (Sunset Grill, Sunny Morning, Eggspectation and Eggsmart to list a few). Customer service was pretty good! On Sunday, (during Jan 1, 2022), the restaurant was open and staff was very quick and responsive.
