Being a loyal customer with TD for almost 15 years, this is the most disappointed experience ever! Something was wrong with the check I wrote and got an answer it was the mistake I made. After telling them I am thinking to quit my account, the representative named Britney said "Sure, no problem. You just need to come in person and get your money out!" It definitely made it sounds like such an easy process and I am so welcomed to take my money out and head to another bank. I asked for a phone call from the manager and was told she will be in around 1pm today. Now it is almost the time for them to close and nobody called me yet. However, upon arrival at the branch, the receptionist couldn't find an appointment scheduled which was very disappointing. With kids' activities and busy weekend schedules, we were left waiting for the advisor to be free. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate given that I had confirmed a time and day while visiting the branch. But she kept saying "TD our policy is to..." and very defensive about everything. She got me so frustrated in such short amount of time that I almost felt like she wanted me to terminate my account at TD and go somewhere else.
